I never say a damn word to any doctor that I'm an ex addict. You mention that, and your healthcare completely changes.
North Indian dishes are spicy, oily and pungent. They have an unholy obsession with butter, cheese, oil, chilly and cumin. South Indian cuisine has character and wider range of flavour. We use coconut more than anything. We see cumin but go for fennel seeds that is way superior. North recognises this and to lessen their jealousy and inferiority complex, ruins our dishes by making them their way but then again, one cannot expect much from an immature and petulant child. Funny how one who has no idea gives lecture on matters where said one should just hold silence but idiots galore is what internet is all about, so it all makes sense somehow.
