Super great video, loved watching it from the beginning to the end!! Did you film all the plans from your bike with your phone ? How was it attached to your bike? Hope to see more videos from you soon!
@@robinhuber8002 thank you for the kind words, Robin! Mostly with the GP12. I have it mounted on the handlebar using the tape mount. Then I just place it wherever I can to capture the ride in different angles 👍
Hello! What drone do you use to record yourself? Thanks
@@jaituk2328 hey buddy! I'm using the DJI Mini 3 Pro 👍
@ so you have the remote with you, and then make the drone follow you right?
@ yea! Haha
@@zwiftlegs thanks!
@@zwiftlegs you seem to be cycling without a backpack or anything 🤣 you’re the master
Nice scenary, and nice narration!
@@gomogulist thank you!! ☺️
Hey Leonard, thanks for your stunning work! That was really a pleasure to watch! May I ask, if you had any problems stowing your bike in the hotels in Japan and Korea? Did they allow to take it to your room? Would love to see a biking film from Singapore.
@@uli4735 hey buddy! Thanks for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed it 😊 Yes, no problem at all. Except for a hotel in Jeju. Even then, they were very understanding and let me in. Wow, I seldom ride outside here in Singapore. Haha, it's too crowded!
You put your dirty bike chain against those clean white bed sheets at the airbnb. Need to show your hosts respect bro…
@@mlee6136 waxed chain. Didn't leave a stain. Even cleaned the floor after every application everywhere I go. I'd usually ignore comments like this but this felt personal.
@@mlee6136 Host: "Very friendly and great guest The room is kept very clean You are more than welcome to come to Taiwan again" I know it's the internet and you're in the comfort of anonymity. But to talk about respect after jumping to conclusions and slandering, that's a bit ironic, isn't it?
Hi Leonard. I rode most of these over a 1200km solo bike packing trip earlier this year. Shibu pass, Haruna descent and the utsukushigahara are wild. You nailed this video. Stunning work.
@@SamMcMorran-i7l hey Sam! Thanks man! Wow, must have been an amazing experience! Hope to learn what you have done via Strava! 😍🙏

@@dawidkauzny8000 thank you! Hmm, 🤔 I'm not sure about the model but it's from a chinese brand NEZA 😊
I'm Japanese, as one of Japanese, the video was difinitely increadible. I enjoyed your great video like a movie. If you can go to the country, I recommend you to go to Gifu Pref that is my home place. Thank you for your great videos and your great effort !!
@@mabutaro1015 thank you for your kind words! I really appreciate it! Gifu Prefecture, looks very pretty 🤩 I'll study it and plan a trip soon!! 👍😊
Absolutely nice! if you don't mind me asking, what drone are you using? Is that a DJI neo?
@@LouieMiranda thank you! Np at all! I'm using the DJI Mini Pro 3 😊
Amazing video! I loved every second of it. I have one question, which template from where did you use for the transitions? (The whiteish background with the picture and name of the ride) I’d love to use it too.
@@gerson4729 thank you! It's not a template, I created it haha Every transition uses the same background image, then I just used a different photo and text over it! Lastly, I applied some positioning keys on them! That's all! 😊

I enjoyed watching this. Whats the spec of your bike?
@@jogratscycling6540 thanks buddy! It's a Winspace T1500D on a R8170 and hypers. I run tubes. Easier to manage. 👍
@@zwiftlegs Thanks. Insane elevation gain on your rides. And btw, whats the ratio of the cogs and crank?
@@jogratscycling6540 np man! 50-34, 11-30 on this trip. I recently put a 11-34 at the back so that I can spin a bit more.
Im a american women who would like to ride bike in japan Any advice for when I go to japan ?
@@Funlady8890 hey! Apart from the driving side being different to the US, you should be fine! It's very safe and I find the drivers to be very mannered in the countryside. It rains a lot, so, IMO, plan for the shoulder seasons during spring and autumn to lower the chances of rainy days. Lastly, I was q worried about black bears and giant hornets. I avoid spending time during dawn and dusk in deep forested areas. There are studies that suggest that hornets are more aggressive towards darker clothings, so I avoided that as well. Hope that helps haha! 😊
@@zwiftlegs thank you
2 things i wanna mention: 1. You did not start your segment count all the way from the bottom at the intersection with the main road. How did it still count? 2. My PB is only 4.20. How much faster could i go if i switch from a vinatge steel bike (unloaded 9.8kg) with flat pedals and downtube shifters? My easiest gear is a 42-22 and i sort of need to stand out of the the saddle almost the way. Whenever i have to shift (when the gradient changes) i need to sit down to shift (impossible to ride out of rhe saddle and shift at same time with dowtube shifters) Could i at least shave 10 secs off maybe even 20 if i switched to STIs?
Hey man, the segment starts after the cross junction. As for your second point, IMO you could easily shave 30-40s using a standard road bike.
@@zwiftlegs I had no idea,I always started my effort from the bottom🥲 It's that much🤔😮? I had no idea at all! What counts as a standard road bike?
@@jeremyemilio9378 yea IMO. I imagined myself in your position. Riding your bike and burning 500W for 20s in the beginning would easily add 30s to my attempt. Just an estimate. I do a lot of estimates like this for Zwift races haha.
@@jeremyemilio9378 the geometry would put you in a more advantageous position. Both for aerodynamics and riding position for power output. Gear ratio of a standard SRAM/Shimano setup will help as well. Then it's all about the legz.. 👍
@@zwiftlegs I have no power meter,no speed meter on my handlebar to see or anything. I just go as hard as I can all the way from the very base where it intersects with the main road
Nice video!
