    • @Weepee587
      @Weepee587 Год назад

      not too sure about the bb height on a 160 mm fork. But it seems should be alright coz that is the recommended fork length. For me 170mm front and a mullet set up is just perfect for everything ( Bike park and single tracks)but had to flip the mino link to high setting otherwise the bike feels awkward to handle . I dont wanna go too far to 180mm coz maybe might be tricky on tight corners and could be sluggish to turn. You could always try. though coz its all about your style of riding.

    My understanding is that the chainring is optimized for the Shimano chain. Are you using the SRAM chain/cassette with AXS (and the stock chainring), or are you mixing AXS with Shimano? Sounds like the rear derailleur is miss aligned and the chain is trying to grab the next gear. The problem with video audio recordings is you have no way of knowing where the sound is coming from. You will probably have to position a GoPro looking down at the cranks to see if the sound co-insides with one crank position or in the same position for both cranks. Then have the GoPro looking down at the derailleur to see if the chain is trying to jump to the next gear. Hope fully between the video sounds you may workout where it is. There seems to be more that a fair share of complaints about some awful noises in the TQ motor in Australia, New Zealand and the US. I have seen one RUclips video where they reported that a batch of faulty motors were shipped to Australia but having complaints in NZ and the US seems to indicate the problem may be more of a design or overall production problem. A good reason for not being a guinea pig to new tech. New Microsoft O/S and patches where a prime example of that.

    • @Weepee587
      @Weepee587 2 года назад

      Yes, went to my LBS and they said to hold on and wait coz they have quite a few bikes with the same issue and they’re suspecting its the lower shock mount hardware is causing the creaking noise. Maybe a replacement hardware is coming or whatever Trek’s action will be since the LBS lodge a complaint to Trek already. Fingers crossed . Hoping a solution is on its way! So far motor is doing great the issue seems outside the motor.
