The good ol "get yourself immediately heel hooked sweep"! Teach em while their young
@@jamesn3122 that is a great option for the bottom player to attack a heel hook your correct. In another video I can show how you can use the hand posted on the head and the hand posted on the ground to elevate your hips for triangle/armbar exposure if you like. Or would you like to see another option where leg entanglements aren’t available but you use the sweep very similar? I have tons of options I could share with you on attacking or defending the leg lock position from this sweep if you like to see.
Good choke! That’s called Kata Ha Jime, single wing choke. Old school judo leaned around 5th-6th kyu. Which is a lower belt around yellow. ruclips.net/video/yaTGgRjnwB8/видео.htmlsi=4V_o1unW1dnbZUKZ
that detail of the far collar, i have never attempted that with this style choke. great pointer coach.
If my instructor pulled guard I’d leave the gym immediately
Krav Maga any day over this weak system
😂
Amen brother
As a white belt i appreciate that counter
Nice!!
You gone get bit doing that
David Spade
This kills my mcl ):
Such a cool move. Sakuraba did it in a fight during the Pride days.
Love wrist locks
Amazing
All that work for a wrist lock? When you already had an armbar and then omoplata....why?
SURE ALOT OF DETAIL, ISN'T THERE A QUICKER WAY IN GETTING TO THE POINT.?
Why the finger snap?
sneaky! good one
Gracias, lo voy a practicar
And then....the time is out and then Bad person shooting you
Brasil BJJ OSS !
Oh dear god this is inefficient...
Welcome to the "this is how you get stabbed" portion of groundfighting.
I know right. It is so disappointing to see how much horribly inaccurate information there is regarding fighting. Made even worse by how bad and unreliable “styles” such as BJJ, MMA, and so on have become so popular with people who are either uneducated or knowledgeable on the topic of fighting or just gave up in a real style and go to one of these and continue the disgraceful cycle. I honestly hope someone who watched this does not die from relying on this in a real fight.
Do you have any footage of your knife techniques
@@joubinlee3944 😂 😂 🤣
@@joubinlee3944 1. You can train street self defense Jiu Jitsu my old professor trained all the time drilling specific techniques where the person has a knife or gun 2. You need to train all types of self defense scenarios that includes if they are unarmed 3. Please name a style that of Martial art that is more effective for a street fight scenario then MMA? All MMA stands for is mixed martial arts that includes a large umbrella of all different styles of course it is also a sport and not all techniques learned are ideal for the street but the muscle memory you learn from going full force is huge, if you are thinking about Krav Maga yes it is good for stopping an armed opponent but is no where near as affective for unarmed combat a lot of its moves are watered down versions of other martial arts, the fact is there are ALOT of martial arts that are extremely effective in street fights you just because there are used in competition doesn’t mean there are not techniques that can be used in a street fight or other techniques used against armed opponents we trained with police officers who have literally used these techniques on people a boxer for example wouldn’t want to do a lot of things in a street fight that he is taught to do in competition but a quick lead left hook or jab is extremely effective for a street fight, I have seen a sports style striking martial arts like TKD used to stop multiple attackers with machetes who literally had just killed a guy, I have seen grappling martial arts like judo used to also stop a guy with a machete both are used in sport style competitions both have things you would want to avoid in a street fight that only work in a competition but both can also be extremely effective in deadly scenario 4. You have talked down about these martial yet you have not talked about what you train in you are clearly very confident in what you train so what martial arts is that?
@@joubinlee3944 MMA and BJJ are bad and unreliable? Please tell me a style that is reliable in your opinion.
I do judô what the heck am I doing here
Nice
Expose your back for a wrist lock? Lol 😂
Heck freaking yes!
White Belt Dante and Bearded coach
Bypass 3 other submissions to go for a submission. Stupid.
So you miss an armbar and then an omoplata and finish with a wrist lock 🤭
Kosen Judo 101. There is also a Jujitsu wrist flow kata included in that last position.
Osss
By flower do you mean pendulum?
Also called a flower sweep..
@@theinceptionofyaraphoenix2383 no with a flower you don’t under hook their knee

There is no school like old school. Period. One sleave grip and one underhook, with open guard pendulum, lead to 7 threats. Jitcu Amazin'.. sometimes we forget the basics work best.
00:45 break the wrist & walk away. Rex kwon do.
Nobody wants that!
You ate him up like a friggin hoagie from Wawa
This is just jiu jitsu, but At this point with berimbolos and persistent leg locks I suppose this would be classic now
This is exactly why I am getting into Jiu-jitsu. Look how smooth the transition was? Now I see why Keanu reeves received Jiu-jitsu training ( as well as other disciplines) to prepare for his role for " John Wick". Nice!! ✌
Half bjj, half judo. judo will say they're complete as will bjj, and really judo had all bjj's techniques but lost more and more as the rules changed. I do both: judo for standing, bjj for the ground. In judo standing I'm pretty good for my amount of time training. I easily sweep, pass, and submit in newaza (ground or mat work) in judo, even against guys with up to 80 pounds on me. In bjj I'm pretty good on the mat for my amount of time training, but standing I trip and throw guys with much more experience on the mat. The 2 compliment each other well. Most bjj classes teach takedowns once every few months, most judo clubs don't do much mat work. My judo club does a lot of mat work, but the focus is on passing and pins, less focus on submissions and guard. Judo is better for putting people down and pinning them, bjj is better for every situation once hit the ground.
It was horrible. I’m not trying to put you down, I’m sure you are a good student and fighter I just don’t wanna see you fall into the pitfalls that are bjj, jj, mma, and so on and have your potential go to waste. Regarding this technique shown in the video, it is so inefficient and poorly thought up. It is literally wasting time and energy and just doing a wrist lock after all the wasted time and energy.
@@thedopesickshow this is straight incorrect information. Judo is a real martial art. Not like that disgraceful crap they call mma, jj, bjj, and similar “styles”.
@@joubinlee3944 well you actually complimented me in one way, I'm a brown belt under former Olympian Tarek Tarek Moneir in judo. I also box at a third gym.
@@joubinlee3944 i fear you fell on your head a little too often.. mma is literally a mixture of martial arts to maximum effect
Why are you mismatching. Big noob move
Guess you are new to bjj 😂🤣😱
It's like an omaplata sweep
this can very much work nowadays why is it old
idk
That's the point, old doesn't mean bad.
Thanks for the video, my girlfriend never had a chance.
