Still got his book bought 1963

Wow I used that book as well, that and the Shadows got me playing, I'm now 74 and I'm still playing in a band

We loved Bert but to say the famous learned from him is dubious

About 1985 I saw a booklet which I think was titled '22 Golden Guitar Greats' - ( I bought the album in 1976.) This booklet contained transcripts of Sleepwalk; Apache and Albatross - I seem to recall(?) I have been trying to trace the book in recent years but I draw a blank! Do you know anything about it, please? It is about time some guitar fans transcribed Bert's solos - he was very creative and had splendid ideas for tunes.

This clip has been put up by my husband. Glyn Price was my granddad and although my family are not shown in this clip, we are mentioned as my mum was his eldest daughter and was working as a nurse in Australia at the time of the filming.
