Back when these cars were New i watched a mechanic unload one of these Cars from a Ship Container on the back of a Truck and down Ramps, He Backed it Down.. Rolled it way way too Fast and the Engine Oil Pan impact Crashed onto the Road.... right before my very eyes, it made a hell of a Sound...! i used too install car lifts so i happened too be working there and they had maybe 6 or more of these Cars.. i'll never forget it as long as i Live i think they said the cars were worth 170,000 $

Boot space is 500 liters and expands to 1750 liters when rear seats are folded down..not 550/1500 as mentioned. The 40 Sport is not the entry level but the non Sport variant. The interior camera takes snapshots..not continuous recording. Spec guide says it blocks off 100% of UVA and UVB. Integrated 3D speakers on the seats are only available on Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System..not on the Harman Kardon shown on this video. Also, soft close doors and laser headlights are not standard on the 40 but are part of the Enhancement package. It is, however, standard on the iX 50 xDrive Sport. Also, saying that the “chassis” per se is made up of carbon fibre is not accurate. The composition of the iX body frames is made from “aluminium spaceframe body structure”. The “Carbon Cage” panels includes the carbon-fibre side, roof and rear window frames, cowl panel and rain channels. The firewall is what separates the engine bay and interior cabin and saying that it doesn’t have it is not accurate. I’m loving mine! I’ve moved away from AMG and happy. A good daily with plenty of power when you need it. I recommend slightly dropping the springs and adding spacers - a nice touch.

When people resort to statements like 'it will grow on you' or 'it looks better in the flesh' - you just know that these people are having difficulty accepting reality. I have seen it in the flesh and to be perfectly honest, if there was ever an argument to slap a number plate on a car, then this is it!!

Great vid. I’ve had mine for 5000km now as my daily and love it. Does the commute incredibly well and when you want performance just dial it up and enjoy. When I first saw the media pics I didn’t like the grill but in the flesh saw the aggressive side and after one drive had to have it.

This is the GranCabrio MC so less performance orientated and more the top down/sound. The Granturismo MC Stradale is the version thats most performance orientated with the race mode, carbon ceramic brakes , ferrari 599 gto gearbox etc. Performance is 0-100 (4.5secs) top speed 190mph, top gear did a comparison of this car with the c63 black series years ago.

Great review. Love that you had the window open so we can hear the sound. Also I’m pretty sure this is a Gran Turismo MC and not a stradale. The stradale has a Ferrari 599 GTO gearbox.

Sorry to say, but this is not the MC Stradale! It is the GranCabrio MC. The MC Stradale is a Coupé, has a manual gearbox, carbon ceramic brakes, 1cm wider tires on all corners, is 300kg lighter and provides for a more direct and truly visceral driving experience. This car shown here is a convertible, has a boring conventional torque converter, steel brakes, 1cm thinner tires, is 300kg heavier and a relatively „underwhelming“ driving experience in comparison... Someone did not do his homework before buying the car, or is clickbaiting...
