Dearest Eric, I am here listening 🎶 to the early "Raspberries" music. We, your friends, fans, and family are grieving because you quietly "slipped away" from this life March 10, 2024. My fave name for you was "MAESTRO Eric." Thank you for allowing all of us into your life personally, privately, and intimately through your impeccable way of expression of music. An absolute LEGEND. You are very missed and many of us cannot believe you're no longer here doing what you loved most. There is no doubt in my mind that you are busy composing JOYOUS, GLORIOUS, Majestic melodies to honor our creator and atonement for sin~JESUS, Yeshua Hamashiach. It's not goodbye,it's simply I'll see ya' later dear friend.

Eric was a great singer, songwriter,musician, and performer. His songs will live on. I'm going to miss him so much. Love You, Eric, always. Rest in peace, beautiful and sweet soul. Heaven has gained another amazing voice. 🌹

In the 1970s I was the electronic technician for the City of Panama City Florida. I ran all the electronics in the city, including all of the traffic lights recording city meetings Christmas decorations and working the sound and lights in the auditorium out on the arena. I had the great pleasure of working with Grandpa Jones mini parole and all that group Patsy sled, George Jones Tammy wynette and many other groups. I think the most fun was running a show for the raspberries. I actually sang not during the show but before the show with Eric Carmen, I sounded like crap he sounded great, it was a good group they were very friendly and they hooked up their soundboard to our new speaker system, and I ran the lights for that show. Great memories.

I’m looking at the date of this concert! It’s a wonder they didn’t get hurricaned - September on the Florida Panhandle is the tail end of the hurricane season! One of my favorite clips of Eric singing live!!! This is no easy melody line he wrote for himself?! This should be a lesson on how the singers a few decades ago did it consistently live without the benefit of auto/tune etc.
