thanks, we tested Bullet 135l in freeride version without cutouts but was pretty fast also, about 50km/h on choppy water so original freerace Bullet must be even faster. This vid with dacron Pat Love sail 6.0 in light wind conditions was just a little look back in time - we tried Bullet with 4-cams GUN GS-R and 2-cams EZZY Lion 7.0/8.5 with very good results, still going through lulls, easy to ride as freeride board but much faster. @@Sport-Ronaxcz Thanks! I'm actually looking to replace my old 2018 Goya Bolt 125l (240/76/52) with something similar. The issue is that almost every freerace board being made these days are designed for the Defi Wind to manage chop and long distance comfortably: shorter, narrower with lots of Vee under the hull. This makes for slower and hard to take off boards and they don't glide through lulls like more flat hulls used to do. The Naish Bullet caught my attention because of its wider tail that should help passive planing and it 235/76cm dimensions in the 120l version. The only problem is that Naish website does a terrible job at showing the hull shape and won't say the width at the tail (33cm from the tail). Yet, this is quite critical when choosing a board that you can't try before buying. I take my old 125 Bolt up to 31-32kn 2sec top speed regularly with NP V8 sail (2-cam). That's also what I'm looking to be able to do with a new board.

I use 460SDM constant mast only, works perfect so I have not changed it then. Lift RN is foil/slalom sail but the wind was very light so I used it also for waves with no problem - boom is 160cm on 7.0 sail.

If luff is for example 420 then just take a extension up to 30cm.Set extension to 20cm so then you can use full range of the sail from min. to max.

Thanks but still not sure why there is a range of settings for the extension. Why is there just not one number? The wind strength is catered for by the 4 settings at the base of the sail. Why not just one exact extension amount please? For my 7.5 cheetah I need to downhaul the max setting with the max extension then the sail is great. For my Zetas, I’m still guessing and need to tune on the water which is a pain. Lovely when I get it right but it isn’t clear to me why the extension range and when I use mine, med or max on the extension. And if I use min, med or max on the extension, what do I then use on the downhaul? Thanks

it was hard to go over shore break as alll night was about 40knots but the wind went down in the morning with almost the same waves :-) So I took Naish LiftRN 7,0 just to try to go over...18knots between waves is not enough, I couldn't get in planning.
