I'll put a link to the trailer -- feel free to remove it, if you don't want links in you comments ^^ ruclips.net/video/mQsqy_VQ3GQ/видео.html He's prolly the most famous overall -- "Kottan ermittelt" featuring Major Adolf Kottan is a classic from the Mid-70s, but that is more a crimi-comedy: ruclips.net/video/vCkouDUnAOY/видео.html If I think about Austrian TV since the 90s (by air-time) it prolly would've been: - Colombo - Sherlock Homes - Kottan - Marple - Inspector Clouseau (Pink Panther) - Inspector Poirot Special mention to Inspector Gadget -- and the insufferable Jessica Fletcher of "Murder, She Wrote"; I guess Michael Knight won't count (and thinking bout it, Brenner technically leaves his job as criminal inspector and becomes a PI in the 1st novel). Sorry if I missed someone (important) -- feel free to addend ^^

Oh -- I forgot "Kommisar Rex", where a German Shepard is the main star (had best ratings when it was on)... sorry that -- never liked it (running gag was he always stole the "Extrawurstsemmel", which is aprox a baloney roll)
