Good effort Dan, Good footage at Barnes only spoiled by the aircraft overhead which you could do nothing about except checking how Heathrow are taking off and landing before using that location. I was interested to how treed in some locations are now. Andover even up to 2000 ish was a good wide shot on the approach road, and I have not seen Parkstone for many many years. Lets say at the end of BR steam you could have stood on the end of the up platform and filmed it from Poole harbour.

It is so great that the sound of 35018 coming through completely drowned out the boring announcement that 'due to a problem with lineside equipment......' and only became audible again after it had gone '... please speak to a member of staff....'. A score for old technology...

Yep !! I was lucky enough to be on that train, boarding at Datchet. Brittania performed brilliantly acceleration was very impressive and the diesel apparently did not assist !

Platform edges in the first shot look a bit grim! No doubt camera foreshortening but .....

The horses running away scared @2:36 is a wonderful illustration of how scary this beast must have been back when steam locomotives were first introduced.

Really enjoyed that! Fabulous footage of 6990 leaving Keithley with a short freight. V high quality driving skills needed to do that without a slip. Thinking ahead, it wont be too many more years before we might see 4709 completed. That will look even more fantastic than the Hall! Thank you for posting!
