How do you choose music for a funeral? This is a question I am asked regularly by friends and family, as I am the music director at a Catholic church. This channel is here to give you suggestions and brief musical examples of each, to make this process a little easier. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering in a funeral home and want to include a spiritual song, a Christian service, or an entire Catholic Mass, these suggestions should help. This modern setting by Stopford of John 14 often featured as a gospel in funeral liturgy or celebrations. This is especially beautiful as a quartet, but a lovely duet as well.

I would like to have it available in the event that I will need to plan a funeral for a US Air Force and Navy veteran. I would love it if it included this specific verses and the general "doxological" verse in SATB. For those in peril in the air
This was played at my daughters funeral and I was so numb during her funeral this is one of the few things I remember but today during my my father in laws funeral it brought me back to that day and gave me peace that they are together again
