Can't see them above 3rd in any world. The Jets are only better this year and still managed to compete and be a tough team last year. Of course health is a concern

AK is getting some high praise this year and he's a good back, but I am curious what is different for him this year as opposed to last that has many people far more excited.

But again if you're choosing a QB for one game, regardless of stats Mahomes is obviously number 1. Appreciate the feedback! Crazy to me you're the first person to ask this. @@zijin3200 he definitely has a case, I think after this season he will cement whether he is or isn't, he's been great with not as many opportunities, which can be a positive or negative due to his current situation. Might be easier to see his full potential if he's in a different situation; however hard to hold against him that he's in a perfect team conceptually without the opportunity of others on worse teams. Regardless he's extremely talented

@@Beth_Wilcox thanks for the comment! I understand if Puka isn't included on people's list due to longevity, but I think longevity may be a hindrance to you and your Deandre Hopkins! No disrespect to a legend in the WR community, but nothing about him currently makes me think he is near a top 10 player at this incredibly talented position. Aiyuk was in contention for sure, I would be curious how he would fare with more attention, target share, or even potentially a new environment. Similar to Puka he's thrived in a great system; however not the same opportunities.

Herbert being that high after last season is far more about projecting than evaluating; however he did crack our list as well

It's been 4 years since Herbert did anything worth mentioning yet he still makes most people's lists. He even had Williams & Allen to pass to so it wasn't lack of talent holding him back. Play-calling is one of those things that people either forget to look at or avoid as if they fear invoking God's Wrath which I can't figure out. But my point is you can't include Herbert _unless_ you take into account play-calling. Otherwise only stats matter & his are bad. If play-calling _is_ considered, then Justin Fields has to make _EVERY_ list because he led the NFL in offense 3 weeks straight *with the **_BEARS_** AND* Chase Claypool, a barely surging Cole Kmet & a #1 WR who ruclips.net/video/glpaya0xz-4/видео.html couldn't catch passes that hit him in the hands when he was facing the QB or (11 minutes into ruclips.net/video/0nd2Ac1haEQ/видео.html) even run proper routes. If one wants to dismiss that 3-week stretch as a fluke or only because of the QB rushes, by all means, let's compare Fields' 3-week rush-only offensive streak with that of Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Zach Wilson, Michael Vick & Cam Newton all of whom had the same skill set. Oh right. Despite all of them having had 1 or 2 better receivers to work with, they never did that. & "that" doing it with inferior receivers wasn't even my point. That 3-week stretch had about 70% or more different play-calls. Then for whatever reason the HC took back control of calling the offense (Eberflus boasted about deciding what to limit the offense to _before_ that point) & cancelled *_all_* the plays that were different those 3 weeks, not just the designed QB rushes. This _proved_ the play-calling was hampering him. & everyone ignored it. So why does Herbert get the benefit of the doubt despite _NOT leading_ the NFL in offense *with 2 receivers* better than what Fields had while Fields' talent is dismissed? Anyone?

As I stated I think Herbert is far more about projection and a new look at playcalling is part of that. I think this year is his final attempt for me to be what we see him as being (I know not the same talent, but same view point as early Stafford). As far as Fields, I think he got a terrible shake of things, unless there's something with him and practice/behind the scenes I don't think he's viewed fairly either. But he's not even in an opportunity to be a starter right now so I can't just over look that whether we agree or not. Again appreciate the feedback and the participation!

This is a league-wide thing that even affects the more analytical among us. Humans seek to know what _society_ thinks. It's a semi-conscious action at best totally automated in most people, but it's wrong. Matt Canada got chanted out of town because of it. Fields is now seen even by NFL coaches & GMs as a back-up because of it. I happen to be one of those rare people who looks to see for themselves if what I'm hearing is true. "He can't read defenses" right? So when you eliminate that as an excuse for anything, what _did affect_ his playing in the NFL? People often pick up POVs they never sought proof of then do exactly that, defend them, forgetting they never saw evidence to back them up. I see the consequences of such things & make attempts to discourage it. It's as simple as that.

Maybe saying best player in the division was a stretch, even though I fully believe in Julio. It's also at his position and his team I think it was the better strategic pick, we love Corey! As a NC boy as well, we love seeing him play! a 2 time WS champ, 2WSMVP on different teams. Hoping for great health all year and see his WAR continue to skyrocket. As for Julio hopefully he can have two great halves this year and not tail off
