I thought it was still gorgeous! Not all sunsets need to be outstanding with colors. I like watching them develop and then fade. And you’re right, hang around about 15 m or so to see what happens after the plunge. There was a nice jet flying about the first flock of birds. I’m surprised you never said. Also those bats are very important to the ecosystem. They are eating those pesky insects that started to bite you.

What do you think the 3 mysterious objects were? I think my first instincts were correct about the 2 contrails. They were probably regular commercial airplanes, which just looked impossibly steep because of an optical illusion due to them flying almost straight at us. However, it's been 7 months since I filmed this, and I've still only seen planes on a similar flight path one or two other times. I also still don't know what that quick flying animal was, and I've not seen it very often since then either.
