Finally after 3 months of searching I found her, she is a 2009 Toyota Hiace! I am in no way experienced in building a van and this is just a fun project that I am taking on with my dad. Once it is complete I will be living in her full-time Thanks for all your support Charlene xx Soundstripe Music BVQGAS6HN0UT7WAD I8YTU4AKYNVVHES7

Watched a few of your vids now and really interesting to see the van life journey! Looking forward to more
Thanks for that hiking app tip. I've downloaded and it is a fantastic app. 👍
Good on you mate, you've a great outlook on life - don't lose it! Great video! Thanks for Sharing :-)
Love your van. My suggestion would be get an Aussie Mozzie device. You won’t regret it. It’s a game changer. Not expansive either. Thx for sharing.

“Bustin’ for a wee.” 😂 Love that and your whole set up!
Hey nice simple and clean design. Just one thing everyone seems to miss packing insulation wool into their walls and roof. Is there reasons? I found my van one my second build with thoroughly done insulation was 10x cooler in 37+ degree days. I done full sound deadening Heat barrier foil Full moisture protection Full acoustic protection (light sound proofing) Thermal insulation wool Then applied my walls and roof. (All the electrical was in conduit and pre wired before insulation) I had one person say when it was pouring down how is it so quite and like the waters hitting rubber ahaha worled amazing for quietness and especially heat and cold
Love your van. As a van dweller and solo female traveller, you should get a portable battery jump starter. I was a nurse and I inadvertently left my lights on in a hospital car park when I started a shift. When I returned 11 hours later it was raining. No one wanted to give me a boost in the rain. My phone was really low. I managed to call my husband who had to drive so far from his work site. We got home three hours later. I had ad bought a new car two weeks prior but because we were moving I didn’t collect it. You know, I nearly left my old car in the parking lot for whoever wanted it and take an Uber home. 😂
You might like to check out my 2009 Toyota LWB van fit out
It’s the same year as my Toyota LWB I named ‘Van Halen’ Similar kms as mine when I bought mine. I too have internal access as a solo female vanlifer. Love your fitout. New sub. Gypsy’s on the road. 🚐 I am trying to grow my channel too. Step by step. 🙏😍
As a Father , I hope your okay ....... it's like you've fallen of the planet. I hope you are okay & just maybe taking a break or you've found a new man in your life . ❤
Haha this is awesome. Where are you based? I'm about to start the same campervan build in Sunshine Coast.
I really enjoyed your honesty and humour. Love the van. I have a hiace diesel that's done 680000km on the original engine and is still going strong. It's a 1994 and I absolutely love it. Thank you for sharing your experience and the great tips.
Thanks so much for sharing this Charlene. This is exactly the type on info I've been searching for! Legend!
Awesome video ! Was just wondering how much it was to get the whole power setup done by a professional Thanks !
Hey how's it all going, havnt seen anything from you in a while. Hope all is well,
Man, Wished he had them here. For the ceiling vent there's a lot of turbulence, I recommend a sharkfin shaped roof that doubles as a pop up, it's actually more aerodynamic even the frontal area is bigger. Thanks for sharing :)
Tho*
Hi neat van. What do you use for heating in cooler weather ? I'm in New Zealand gets pretty cold in winter here. Tossing up over a caravan or doing the van thing like you've done. Toyota's rock Ive owned a few and everyone knows they are built to last.
120Ah is Amp hours
600,000Km easily possible with a Toyota. Japan engineering and mindset is very different to American or European.
Hey Charlene, not sure if you resolved the hatch issue but I would run velcro or a reusable zip tie. Can pick these up at Bunnings
Bermagui was the very first town I visited when arriving in Oz. It’s where I got to meet my GF’s mum and dad, eat flathead’s, and get drunk on a couple of KB lagers, back in 1979. Good times. Love the south coast!
🥰 I don't know who she is what she is but fall in love😊
Hey Charlene. Havent seen anything from you in a while Just checking in to see if all is ok! We are up in Bunbury way if you need a place to stop.
where is this? Sydney? Is this a super LWB, commuter bus?
Thanks for this, is great. About the bed, dont get slide out draws, get Hydraulic gas hinges, they cost anywhere from $12 - $25. The slideouts are more expensive and take away room. The hinges will help with opening the frame and close quietly. Ask your Dad.
Hey Tahini Queen! Good to see you enjoying nature as always, I went for a barefoot bushwalk the other day, so good! Peace and love!
Hey, I’m just wondering, do you prefer having the bed at the front of your van? And can you still easily access the engine? I’m planning on building my van properly over the next few months and considering doing it similar to yours. I’ve had the bed at the back for a while but it doesn’t seem like the best way to do it. Thanks for the inspiration too 😊
Is it Bowen at 0:06 ? and the view on cape gloucester island ?
What a great dad, not all men are monsters, that’s the story being told by main stream, not all men are woman killers … this is shows how real men should behave . Well done dad ….
You keep buying your old man those coffees! He deserves them! I've got a joke for the old man! My wife called me a sex machine the other day!....Well the words she used were "You're a f!@#ing tool".....but I knew what she meant! Keep up the good work!
Great video. I have a '92 Hiace. The other day I was just getting a towbar attached and 2 mechanics were banging on to each other about how amazing the motor was. Great feeling. Hey, why don't you buy yourself a portable jump starter???
They are pretty amazing 🙌 Yes i really should, not sure why i haven’t yet 😆
Your tour is the first actually real one I've seen. The rest are so annoying and full of self-important people. All the best and thanks.
That’s really lovely, thank you 😊
You don't use rafiki anymore, do you? 😢
Far out this was the most helpful van tour I’ve seen because u kept it real THANK U

Well done you.
A beautiful corner of the world. Done bluff knoll a few times now and it never disappoints! But its always windy up there. Will you get to the Porongurups too while you are there? I can recommend them!
It’s pretty amazing out here, i’ll be sure to do everything before i leave. I still have another month or so 😊
Great to see you Charlene! Missed your smiley face. Fantastic hikes - well done 👏🏼🥇. And thanks for the amazing sunrise - so awesome 🥰. Xo
