this Aucland ? Building , I always thought was very beautiful ,It once housed the "Pearl St cafe " which was great cafe !! It 's too bad the back side of the building was torn off ! This is a horrible shame , of a building that is historic ,don ,'t they have to keep the whole building ?? This place is much more beautiful ,then all these damned skyscrapers ! Mark Mclelland

My mother cleaned Murray fisher and his wife’s house when they lived on highway 5. ( Dundas). In the early eighties. I remember meeting him a few times before he past away in his vegetable garden. I thought that was a nice way to go.

Aloha from Hawaii! I grew up in Burlington ON Canada. Fortunately, I saw this fantastic movie. My sister was visiting here so we went all out with the best sound theatre, wine and deluxe seats. Absolutely worth it. She recognized so many of the locations. Burlington Public Library, Nelson Auditorium and more. Amazed. Interview with director and leads is well done.

Sad to see this beautiful old building closed as a Pub. I can only hope for a happy future and not the developers wrecking ball.

Thanks for this, I ride my bike past this everyday. I saw it before they tore the backend off it and wondered what the deal was with it and why they saved the front.

I have a connection to the developer that owns this now. They have had lots of paranormal activity in this building. Hopefully when this does get demolished, the Ghosts stay and haunt the new building.

I’m hoping whomever reopens the restaurant honours the memory of The Estaminet and The Tree Top. A supper club upstairs with Emma’s downstairs would be lovely. Tree Top had an actual tree in the centre of the room. Such a wonderful place.
