@@davestewart2215 sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay at the Raga, it was fine when we went, however we have since been to the Miramare Beach Hotel in Side, March 2024 and did enjoy this hotel better, they served branded drinks in all of hotel bars, the food was fantastic too in our opinion

@@neilmascall2363 Yeah, shame it was closed , we missed Mr Cooks as we thought the food and staff were fab. We did see Oktay who worked there last year, he was in another restaurant further along. We purposely chose a different restaurant every night, some we hadn’t done before. Never been to Coriander, but will definitely give it a go next time! Thanks for the tip 👍🏼

@@ThomLuin Thank you for your comment, we’re glad you enjoyed the video. In answer to your question about Gumbet, we’ve never been before but we’ve looking to try other places in Turkey to visit. We haven’t been to Greece much, we’ve been to Halkadiki, Kos and twice to Skala in Kefalonia recently, really liked there

We love Kalkan, very picturesque and lots of fantastic restaurants to choose from, it’s a shame you didn’t get back again after your visit in April. We spoke to someone in our hotel who said it was their third time in Kalkan this year

@@gaylegrenfell8625 starting at the Derici Hotel which is opposite the I ❤️Kusadasi sign, turn left past walk past the taxi rank, follow the road round to left passing a few shops until you see the Deniz Bank, take first left at the junction, Special Restaurant is just past the school on the right hand side of the road a few minutes walk away. Hope this helps, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit, Smiley and Jimmy will look after you, enjoy

@@jolene-vm8yg I’m glad you enjoyed the video, Hisaronu is a lovely place, there are new shops, bars and restaurants since we last went there. It’s getting quite noisy on certain parts of the main strip now, music thumping away but there’s still places to have a night out without the loud music. We’re going back to Kalkan in September, it’s a beautiful place, hope you have a great holiday in Alanya

@@damog4507 The price will vary from restaurant to restaurant and the type of rosé wine you choose. We found on average we were paying about £15 to £20 a bottle (2023 prices)

@@blancarosah thanks for the comment, glad it was helpful too 👍🏼 We did enjoy our holiday in Kusadasi, we love the place and people 🥰 We have stayed in the Derici twice now and enjoyed our stay there both times, we had a side sea view on both occasions, however we did hear a couple of guests saying they were not happy with their room as it was at the back of the hotel, so was overlooked by a close hotel which made their room very dark. We do think the rooms could now do with being updated, however the location is enough to make us and a lot of others go back several times 🥰

@@MilouLub the Derici Hotel is a great location on the sea front, only a short walk away from the marina, Kuşadası cruise port, shops & restaurants, Ladies Beach is approximately 45 minutes walk or a short taxi ride. There are many restaurants to choose from and the food was was fantastic everywhere, we hope you have a great holiday

We’re glad you enjoyed the video, there is an à la carte fish restaurant at the hotel so if you like fish that would be great for you, there was salmon and prawns in the main restaurant on themed nights, I tried salmon for the first time while I was here if I remember correctly it was from the BBQ area

Yeah there was, really nice too, restaurant week is the best time to go to try the food at a discounted price
