    This choice paradox happens to me when trying to find a movie on streaming services. Decades ago there weren't so many movies to choose from. It was easy to pick one in the theater, on VHS tape at the rental store, or on HBO. The selected movie seemed more enjoyable too.

      If you deeply understand what's taught and apply, then yes. But it also requires great observation skills at the same time, which is something not every other person possess. In short: if you are a great observer and then apply the techniques, you can read a person to a great extent.

    This psychology or philosophy is bordering on dangerous. Like if you're abused, it's your own fault, basically get over it. WTH? I think another term for this philosophy is gaslighting. I think for simpler problems this philosophy is actually pretty good. But if you're dealing with real trauma, please do not use this philosophy. lol

    Sometimes you don't have common ground like that person who was stuck in his home. Because you might have poor parents you don't have time to deal with them. And you are busy building your business, so that's why you are just making sure that you are not doing what society wants you to do. THis is the courage of being disliked.

    Whoa, the example of women who “rebel” for women’s rights, just for the sake of rebelling, was kinda weird 😂. Maybe a better example would be the people who vandalize a building while a protest is happening, but only for the sake of vandalizing a building. Your example felt a bit derogatory….

    • @wizbuskout
      @wizbuskout 18 дней назад

      Your example is also appropriate. The point is people tend to do things that don't make much sense. But pseudofeminism is poisonous for everybody. I personally support women's education and rights, but not the toxic attitude that extreme feminists have towards men. I'd prefer traditional women any time. Just my opinion. And yeah some statements may sound derogatory because I speak the truth. TRUTH hurts.

    I read "The Road Less Traveled" around '98 and again in '19. The thing that really resonated with me then and now is the idea that healthy relationships are essential components in a happy, joyful life and that the participants are interested and supportive of one another's spiritual well-being. I am mindful of that in all of my best relationships, including my relationship with my life-partner. I have little time for the life-sucking vampires in my life. It's not that I don't care about them, it's just that they can't give or receive love. By the way, I used to be a vampire too,

      @wizbuskout Thank you for your insight. I think you're on to something with the speak less thing thing. When I was a child, one of the house rules was : "children are to be seen and not heard." As an adult, my sister used to press me about my silence. Once I started talking, she discovered she didn't like what I have to say. Now, we are no longer on speaking terms. We've come full circle. 😶‍🌫️

      Truth is a bitter medicine. Ya know people crucified Jesus and tried their best to destroy the image of philosophers. People hate simple honest people because it forces them to face their inner demons. Families aren't any different. One reason people now worship them is because of guilt.
