♥ A lot of folks dont remember or NEVER knew Rusty Lee was a fantasic singer as well has her tv apreances as a cook on morning tv ! still love her to this day!

I played this video to our 83 year old neighbour, she had heard of the name Hinge & Bracket, but nothing else, at first she didn't seem too impressed by the video, then i asked her if she knew they were really George !Logan & Patrick Fyffe, she had no idea, never crossed her mind they couldn't be anything else, but female! She went from not being impressed to very impressed, particularly by the singing. She even said they not only sounded female, but looked female.

Edna puts everyone else in the shade....have to wander if we all should brighten up our wardrobes.

Johnny was like Elileen Derbyshire in that acting was an extremely well paid job that allowed them to live a luxurious lifestyle. Endless paid for tv interviews plugging themselves and their shows were for those actors who craved the limelight and loved being the centre of attention and talking about themselves. Nicolas lyndhurst and James Bolam are other's. They very rarely give any interviews, Bolam once said " I paid my mechanic to fit a new exhaust, a TV actor gets paid again and again and again for just one piece of work, it's called re-run fees, it'd be wrong to do a TV interview trying to flog a dvd of an old show I was in and had already been paid for time and time again

There are times when you never take yourself too seriously, and the cast were jolly good sports for doing this little number, a great selection from Fire Station Blackwall, noticed in particular that fresh faced Stephen North aka Colin Parrish was in the line up, along with the lovely Katherine Rogers - Josie Ingham in a lovely frock at the finale of their song, Absolutely Brilliant 😀
