Good job you guys! The Incline is very difficult. I've done it 2 1/2 times. If I still lived in Colorado it would be more. Just some suggestions to make it a wee bit easier for the next time. Skip the big meal, and beer beforehand, and save it for celebrating after completion. This is because the body moves the blood from the muscles to where digestion occurs after a large meal. Just the opposite of what you need. Alcohol works against you. But you can bring one with you to the top. I've seen it done by others like beer drinkers with a running problem, lol. A light meal beforehand with some snacks for the hike up, and down is plenty. Bring a couple liters of water with you to prevent dehydration. Having no water can be deadly. Acclimate to the elevation for about a week if you don't live at elevation. That can also make you dehydrated, and sick. They want everyone to take the Barr trail down, and not the Incline. The Barr trail is 4 miles to the parking lot. Try to do the Incline earlier in the day to avoid thunderstorms, and the hottest weather. Or do it at the cooler time of year. Glad you made it back in one piece.

First thing I would check is the wire, the ABS cables. If they are all fine, follow the shifting process and also use a good ODB II device to reset everything first. I recommend the Veepak ODB II from Amazon. If none of the mentioned failed, you might want to replace the actuator. The 08 Tundra is easy to replace it. I spent days to get my 07 to work.

UPDATE: My hard drive crashed as I mentioned 11 or so months ago and have not been able to recover the video since. So, since I had already got the problem fixed, I couldn’t another video so I thought to post my update here. I know it's been a long while since but I wanted to update everyone that ever since I replaced the 4H/4L (did it on my own. My mechanic wouldn't dare to do it even when I offered him cash. LOL) actuator. For the 2007 Tundra, the rod is locked from the inside of the differential. Since the actuator rod itself was good, I didn't need to take it out of the differential as it would be too difficult, and because I was not (still is) an auto mechanic I didn’t want to risk more issues. To replace the actuator with the new one, I disassembled the new one entirely, removed the old one, and then carefully installed the new one. I had to carefully reseat and set the gears correctly for the 4H/4L to engage. Trials and errors all day long until I finally got it to set correctly. It was a pain but I managed. The cause was due to water getting inside the 4H and 4L box through the air hose and everything inside the actuator was corroded. A week prior, I cleaned and applied new grease but would not work still. So, the following week, I finally decided to replace it. I also traced the air hose up to the transmission and engine and I discovered that the hose was just hanging underneath the transmission widely exposed. After I replaced and tested the 4H/4L, I replaced the hose with a longer one and relocated the hose up to the engine bay. It has been a little over a year now and everything still working as is. I have done over a dozen overland, off-roading, river crossing - including off-roading in the AK Ozarks back in Feb. 2022, etc., and still, experience no issue with the 4H/4L. I, again, apologize for the lost video. Last but not least, after I did all that above, I stumbled onto this video ruclips.net/video/2HKEluXwbZo/видео.html. I didn’t touch the motor or anything this video described to do because I already got the new actuator. I just replaced the old one with the new one instead. The 2007 and 2008 Tundra are very similar but I believe it is a lot easier to remove and replace the actuator without having to do what I did above on the 2008 and newer Tundra.
