I have the Technics 1200G. After trying A LOT of Moving Magnet cartridges on this another 1200 variants: I think the Technics 1200 tables sound the best to me with the Technics 1200 Mk 4 headshell, 2 gram extra weight screw in the top of that headshell, and the Nagoaka MP 150 with the headahell wires changed to silver. I hear a family sound with this setup.

It's good but I wish they'd get the original master tapes before the final mix and rework the different tracks so it sounds fuller and wider like a modern recording. This music is timeless but the limited sound quality takes away from the effect.

this version replicates a nasty cammed v8 in the intro like it should, if i remember correctly in an interview, that's how it was intended to sound. all the remasters I've heard since I was a kid sounded way too weak.

Noticed how High-fidelity and professional this setup is; from a Technics turntable with the strobe markings perfectly stationary. Sounds just like it’s from a streaming service! (I’m lying, RUclips compresses audio.) Curt’s bass in the background sounds so full and Roland’s voice sounds seemingly more defined than usual. This is incredible work lol. I have a question, is this the original 1985 pressing of Songs from the Big Chair or the new pressing?
