(নিচে বাংলা) Presenting 'Nazrul's Dream,' a piece inspired by the great poet-composer Kazi Nazrul Islam's songs in Raga Bageshree. It's been hard to compose in such tumultous and violent times, but I've often found myself turning to Nazrul's songs for inspiration and peace. Nazrul often speaks of seemingly impossible desires and dreams, which the poet chases despite their apparent unattainability. This piece tries to express that sense of yearning in Nazrul's songs, that seemingly impossible hope for a future where separated companions are united, a future of harmony and peace.
