WASP is focused on helping people and communities across the county create a sporting habit for life.
We are one of 45 County Sports Partnerships (CSPs) covering England. We are a network of local agencies committed to working together to increase the number of people taking part in sport and physical activity.
WASP develops policy and sport and physical activity programmes at a community level working with various stakeholders and in keeping with our vision in ‘Supporting Sport Locally’.

Trowbridge Central Venue Satellite Basketball Club nominated for the Sport England Satellite Club of the year award 2015. A club within a Club which has not only inspired young people to start and keep playing basketball but also where young people are integral to the club’s culture and form its Steering Group!’ This is what makes this club so unique.
