This project for Heritage Week 2021 involved a walk and talk across the hills overlooking Lough Nafooey and Finney to a ‘Fulacht Fiadh’ and an ancient hilltop enclosure surrounded by stone walls, both of which probably had their origins in the Bronze Age. A recording of this walk and talk and music played by local musicians was made into a short film shared on the Heritage Week website and our social media (JCWLGeoheritage) and Joyce Country & Western Lakes Geopark project website.
