Good composition, but the piano is a bit too prevalent in the sound mix, the strings cant breath. Even in a piano concerto the piano must step back a little as a homage to the other instruments. The left hand, on the piano here is possibly over emphatic. A clear interpretation of Philip's 3rd piano dedication. Piano concerto 2 is a hard act to follow, even for a master.

Glass Piano Concerto 3. Wow, Glass is amazing! I have seen his opera, Ahkenaten, twice -- it has become a favorite. Admittedly, i did not truly get it until i put on my best headphones, laid on the couch, and just listened and let the music and rhythms take me to another place. There are echoes from Ahkenaten in this work.
