I can't get it to populate more than 4 keys of 88 keys even when I've told it the key range and did a reinstall. Any ideas?

hey Did u guys make it to where only the first two octaves are the only ones to load random samples when hitting Rando, leaving the rest of the keys grayed out? No matter its still dope!!

Do the loops synch to host bpm?

Would be awesome to get an automatic slicing option for loops. Then, for loops you could replace the chromatic button for a slice button and automatically assign the slices to the keys on the keyboard. This is the only thing I like to do with samples that Rando currently doesn't offer.

A plugin that actually seems useful... well done guys.

Just purchased and blown away out of the gate with this. Smashes ADSR Sample manager. And a natural fit to pair with XO which overlaps a little but more like each picks up where the other leaves off. Fantastic.

As a VST designer i can say that you put some serious thought into this, very well done!

This might be beyond what the plugin is meant for, but I’ve always wanted a granular synth where you can switch between samples like this, and play multiple samples at the same time. Also, I’ve never seen an update this comprehensive - really good job!

oh awesome update!! The follow midi during playback (legato) mode when playing between multiple different samples/loops is a great feature!!

WOW. Just bought Rando. Professional music producer of 20+ years, and this is simply game-changing for my workflow. I was hitting one of those very low stages, and feeling uninspired, with thoughts of quitting. No joke, after playing with Rando for an hour and seeing what it’s capable of, I was jumping around, thanking god for this gift 😂. Absolute game-changer for me! THANK YOU 🙏🏼 I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars on software over the years, not to use most of it. I can already tell that I’ll be using Rando in every session from now on, it’s exactly what I was looking for and more. Much respect. 💎

Please add xfade to the loop mode and scales for the sequencer

Hey! Love the plug in. One issue im having is if my one shots are overlapping. 808s for example. I cant seem to find a way to make the synth mono/legato? Is this an option and am I just being dumb? haha.

A really great to the point overview of Rando 👍👍👏👏👏👏 BUT what I can’t understand is WHY these developers don’t put a dedicated filter with its own ADSR envelope on these plugins……..it’s essential to shaping sounds 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ hopefully in an update 🙏🙏🙏

I use this sitting on my master in Bitwig and feel it's very very useful. I'm already more productive mostly due to my being so self-critical that I rarely hit the record button in my DAW.

Can it record midi for vsts, some have internal sequencers but they don’t have midi out, would be crazy ?
