Cozy Homemade Off Grid Tiny House In the White Mountains
This fall I drove it from Massachusetts to New Hampshire. I lived full time in the tiny house the past 3 months working out the kinks, and I couldn't be happier with the final build. I owe a lot of this build to other RUclips videos and folks willing to help. The tiny house will be an Airbnb as well as my part time home in the summer. The airbnb is located at Barn Door Hostel in Rumney NH.
Here's some quick details on the tiny build:
-9ftx20x13.5 feet tall
- I bought it as a framed out tiny (no lofts or anything, t1-11 siding)
-Ecoflow Delta Pro batteries (2) 7.2kwh
-6 200watt solar panels on the roof for a total of 1.2kwh of solar (not getting even close to that this winter, we'll see about...

Here's a little tour of the tiny house I spent the last year working on. This fall I drove it from Massachusetts to New Hampshire. 110cc Overnight Adventure Tour! 120 Miles on a loaded 2022 Honda Navi!
Просмотров 48 тыс.Год назад
Not what I usually post, but here's a 20-hour adventure tour from Portland to Conway with the Honda Navi. It was hot. The 3-hour hike in the dark was a little brutal. I also should've packed better. The HWK jacket is original, not a knockoff. The fastest I went on this trip was like 52mph; we're slow. The Navi does, however, handle great with a bit of weight on the back of it. It actually feels...
Biking Unsupported From Maine to California!

2015 bike trip from Kittery Maine, all the way to Santa Monica.
Just an observation. I think it is important that we recognize that the reason we have it so easy in the United States of America, is that so many generations before us worked very hard, and contributed to the system. Now that the system is not working so well, and people are withdrawing... the middle class tax base that made all of these choices possible, will likely continue to decline. What I am pointing out is that an overall decline in tax revenue will undoubtedly result in an overall lesser quality of life in America. Not everybody is prepared for that. They would rather blame it on politics. Prepare accordingly.
I ❤ your humor. 😂😂😂
Your hilarious! I hope you post more videos.
Love your tiny house and your video explaining your house w humor❤
what kind of fuel does the stove use? propane?
More Honda Navi vids bro !!!!!!!
Best tiny house tour ever. I also live in a 20’er and your layout is more better. Especially because of the bathroom door. Why didn’t I think of that? Well done. Thanks for sharing!
Not sure how you/your video came up on my feed but glad it did. Love your sense of humor, it made the tiny and your house very enjoyable.
THAT is a tiny house. ....not so with the many many that I see. Lovely little home.
You are so funny. What a wonderful home you have created. Functional and creative. I love how you break down all the complicated additions such as turning lights and internet on and off.
I’m from Brazil and a really like your videos of constrution, so a was scrolling and end up here. Great content!!
People stare so much in my town, they love it. Can I ride your bike? Nope. Such a fun little bike. Best $1800 spent.
This is super cool ❤❤
The spatial jokes combined with the editing (or lack of for some jokes) is something i as both a tiny home owner and video editor appreciate.
Great house. Hiw can I contact you to ask questions and book my stay
Unique indeed ⚘️🔹️⚘️🔹️⚘️
This is whimsical, lovely and all good things!
nice adventure!
I wish every motorcycle came with hazard lights so you could ride the shoulder a little safer when you let people go by. There is plenty of videos on how to add a switch and I’m really thinking about doing it to my bike
1st step of solo travel is tough Once u start u won't stop until it's done ☺ Keep exploring
I literally have the only Navi on the road where I live. Our local Honda dealership sells none of their Navis to locals, and still has a leftover 2022, as of July 2024. That's how much minibikes are not a thing here. It's nothing but big street bikes and overtuned sport bikes. I thought for sure that I'd get made fun of on my Navi. I can't believe how many compliments and questions I get about it. Everyone just thinks it's cool as shit. I'm fortunate that the city I live in, as well as neighboring towns, have sub 50 mph roads to take you anywhere. Outside of the size of the fuel tank, which makes zero sense, I absolutely love my Navi. While it only tops out at 50-55 mph, it's a genuine shock how fast it gets you to 30-35 mph. 40-45 really doesn't come as slow as you think, either. It's extremely comfortable. And the onboard storage is stupid handy. People say that Groms are better. Sure they technically are. They are great minibikes in fact. They are also almost $4000. And I don't think they do city bike as well as the Navi, nor the highway as good as anything over a 250. For $6000 I could buy a used Royal Enfield 600 that is a year old with a warranty from my local Honda dealership that's $3500, and have a Navi that is a masterful city bike. I'd rather pay a bit more to have two bikes that are best suited for their specific duties, rather than one bike that is a great little bike that can do multiple things but is a master of none of them.
Great video Subbed Navi Nation!
Navi Nation! I will be doing this soon
Love my fn navi
I have a Rebel 1100, Ruckus, Grom, and Navi. The Navi is my favorite. Probably because it's so lightweight. I love to throttle and go. I'm done with gear shifting. Must be laziness. 🙂
My friend we just want to cruise.... Not lazy , just relaxed cruising
Are night hikes normal?
I drive a ruckus and i try not stop before hills let people by..i usually only stop pull to side when i reach my slowest speed on the hill seems safer than stopping before i get to hill then not having no momentum Also those were some really amazing photos you took, loved the one with the watch tower and clouds was freaking epic!!
Navi is no more than a glorified mini bike !
No sir, Scootercycle 😉👍
around town and only 50 tops? true but travel the world people walking 10 mi daily and would love anything faster than 3 mph.
Great vid love to see the Navi do what id do with one of
You deserve more subs
I wonder why the Navi won't go any faster, rpm limiter maybe? I have a 2021 Honda Vision 110 with the same or similar eng/trans with fuel inj. and 14/16" wheels and can achieve 100 kph (62mph) easily on the flat but slows some on hills. I doubt it will go a lot faster and not having a good road for it here I've never tried it. Thanks for the video, looks like a fun trip.
I love this man my car has been parked for over 2 weeks atp bc i take the 2023 navi all around los angeles instead. Keep the content coming i may vlog a distance trip after watching this🔥🔥
They're supposed to have a top speed of 55
If you weigh 120 maybe, I weigh 260 and cruise at 45, no problem
I do 52 on the flat no wind , literally with wind at your back on a downhill slope 55 is probably achievable.
Great storytelling, cinematic filming, and an impressive mini adventure.
Have another glass of whine.
Cool adventure.
Where are your saddlebags from?? I also have the Honda navi and need these exact bags!
I live close to kersarge
Excellent vdo! Great things in small things. Simple, effective and discreet. I love it. I've been a rider for 33 years already. I've had all kinds of bikes. I've been to several Canadian provinces (I'm from Quebec) and a few American states. Now, I'm at a stage where I'm cool (I'm 63...but still a teenager in my head!) with having a little more peace on the road. To take the time to see and appreciate what's around us while riding. I look at small bikes for fun, ease and agility. To feel small and big in our world, but also safe on a Japanese motorcycle. Well done and keep it up! Thank you, sir!
Amen brother
not made for streets! this bike was made by indian and mexicans to cross border 100% truth! hondas worse mistake ever!
I've been wanting to test one of these bad boys out on A road trip from Washington to texas...I'm afraid it's gonna die on me halfway or 3 quarters of the way.
bro you said washington to texas on a navi???
@@dannygonxalez9011 yuuuup
You look like a Portlandite fr
Always put a little pack of disposable toothbrushes in your travel stuff. Great trip!
It's a lot of haters out here but on a Honda nav ivy still riding up a f****** mountain
Im being victimized i need u to do a video in spycameras THANKS IM DISABLED
Wow
Stock clutch?
Yooo...the views ended up being EPIC!
I never could understand why a grown man would buy such a small bike. 1. You can't afford anything bigger. 2. Never fully matured. 3. It's super fun! (not). 4. Anomaly. Whatever the case may be I couldn't imagine wasting the money on a little bitty kitty bike.
great video.very well made. i loved the views. keep em coming 👍
