pragmasis ground anchor install in asphalt tarmac
I understand that asphalt is not very strong but as I say in the video "each anchor point has a tested strength of 1 tonne minimum and this is more than sufficient for my needs.
This is an install of a motorcycle ground anchor in asphalt using asphalt specific anchors that are set in with chemical resin with a minimum pul strength of 1 tonne

@@richardb2468 Good to hear! I rarely see them with high mileage.. I saw one video of someone rolling over 300,000miles. Last question, any major repairs in the time you've owned it? I also don't see much online of issues. The occasional powertrian (replace big orange cable), A/C compressor, motor mounts, ect

@@David-by3im absolutely no issues apart from drivers heated seat stopped working and if the Red is on for anything over 45 minutes I get an orange engine warning but this is usually a false alarm caused by condensation in a sensor and it clears after time

Hello! So you don't have to connect it directly to the battery (which is just under the seat on 2017 model), you can just use those two mounting points that you show in the video instead, which will be the positive and negative connection right?
Yes that’s correct. It is a lot more work to get to the battery for the same outcome. This is also the correct way to do it
@@richardb2468 Thank you for a quick reply. I am about to mount lazer linear 18 elite and was looking for instructions. Which goes on first, positive or negative? Then you connect it to the high beam and plug in the ledbar on the end?
@@sancoblanco it doesn’t matter as the relay will not be switched on unless the high beam switch is activated. Simply connect whatever you want first.

When I press the brake about 4 times it becomes hard. Still brakes but stiff. Then after driving a bit further it goes normal again
Sit in the vehicle and replicate that while stopped and with the engine running, get it to go solid and hold it down, it should start to get softer while you hold it there. If it does then that is normal

Yes you can buy an optimate motorcycle charger or any other brand and it will come with a connection that allows you to plug directly to a socket they supply while the battery is still in the bike

do you still own the bike & any major issues?
I had the bike for 5 years in total, I tracked it for 3 years. No major issues apart from the warping tank issues and the coolant manifold leak. Those are pretty standard issues for this model rsv4 and easily solved. I loved it and it’s an amazing machine

Which tesla models have electric heating elements in the windscreen glass?
Any that have the sentry system. It heats up the glass in front of the camera as to keep it clear

I would drill the holes very carefully and use the same plugs but also add a chemical resin to help keep them in the wall and they will be in there tight then
Cheers for this buddy,,, I had this message up, automatically changed the front pads, message wouldn't still go off, see this video, checked my connections and the rear connector was loose , tightened it up,,, off goes the message,,, what a waste of £125 for new pads and labour,,,, live and learn

Richard excellent video .I recently got a i3 94 kh and I use the meter that shows consumption in real time .with carefull driving I have done 280 Kms or over 170 miles .it's truly a great car . One question do you have an idea how many Kms the battery would last ? I've read of people doing 200000 Kms but I suppose it would go further ?
Hi it is so good that I bought another one. I imagine with a good battery regime it will last a very long time with normal degradation
Auto parking would be great where i live. In New Orleans during Mari Gras or during a vent day parallel parking gets really difficult. It's definitely not a think I would use everyday but I think would be super helpful sometime.
Just started mine up after 3 years all seems good , I’ve never serviced or done anything to it , Do you know if there’s a oil indicator or if you can check how much oil is inside if needs topping up Thanks
You have to manually check on these, I would flush out any fuel and put fresh in there after 3 years and I would do the same with the oil.

It depends on the wattage of all 3 items and don’t forget that starting watts are much higher on items with moving parts
For everyone out there here's what turning on the Climatization via the app takes out of the battery for 15 mins cabin warming when NOT plugged in. 3% ! Fantastic and this is without the Heat Pump. Outside temp 3C after 15mins cabin 22C
I'm thinking about buying one of these cars are they worth the money
It really depends what you are after from the car but I would look at the bmw i4 too

Yes it is actually quite a good machine. It will do the 4 inch stuff but it really good at the smaller stuff and it chips it down to very small chippings

Probably wise to turn off the auto folding mirrors and leave them out if it's gonna freeze and if you put the wipers into service mode the night before it freezes, they will be high enough to defrost with the front screen.

Hi Richard fantastically helpful review of the i3, I'm hearing they have improved the suspension and the range of this vehicle, in the 2018/2019 updates. The space for me is not a deal breaker. So I am seriously considering the BMW i3 or the Hyundai Ioniq 5 too. However, I am torn between the two. Any thoughts on which one you would pick!? 🤔
I have since traded this one in and now I have the 2017 version, the reason I went for this year is because it still comes with the Rex engine and this is a must if you ever plan on a long journey, I would go with the i3 if boot space is not an issue for you. Bmw build quality is hard to match

had this light on the dash, took it to ford immediately as only 50000km of light duty on it and they proceeded to quote 1300aud for new front disks and pads
