🟦…The problem I have with COB is that it blinds anybody within range. You wouldn't want them as headlights, the reason headlights have reflectors is to focus the light into a beam, Apparently the SMD would be considered a more focused light source so would be better to use on a car or motorbike if you're talking about a headlight on it, Would be good for turn signals or brake lights tho as long as they were modulated properly bright-wise. A friend of mine gave me a COB Headlamp (to wear on my head), Which means I cannot turn towards people when talking with them or I'll have them bumping into things the moment I turn it off, cuz there's no "Please point that thing down while we're talking" with a COB headlamp,..You would have to turn it off,..and then you're two people in the dark with no night vision for 20 seconds or so! ... COB's have their applications, but I don't think they're being utilized properly in many instances.

Well, COB or COF is not really 180 degrees actually. The angle is usually a bit wider but not quite different. Of course, COB LED is really, more durable to chemicals, longer life span..

I have 8 stairs. I use ports #1 to 8. After on week port #6 stop working. So, I skipped this faulty port and reconfigured the stairs wire to use port #1-#2-#3-#4-#5-skip-#7-#8-#9. Two week after port #7 stop working!!!! I did the same thing reconfigured ports #1-#2-#3-#4-#5-skip-skip--#8-#9-#10. Now the problem is when you reconfigured your stairs, port #6 - #7 create a delay between ports #5 and #8?

Hello, Are you able to help me with the ES32 stair controller setup? I have connected all steps to the controller + light and 2 PIR sensors. Steps are turning ON and OFF one-by-one as expected. The problem I have is when I go up, the sensor at the bottom initiates the sequence...but when I'm at the top, the upper PIR sensor initiates the sequence from top to down. Is it possible to set any delay or something? Because currently it looks like a mess, stairs from the top are turning OFF, but at the same time, they are turned ON from the top... I tried many combinations and nothing helped, but that's my first time with this controller
