For fun in my UDC I have horseshoes and Chess Table. The horseshoes come with outdoor retreat I believe so I dont know if you have that pack or not. So just a suggestion. So i felt they could have used torn hoereshoes for leisure activity

The reason medieval women's veils look like nuns is that in later generations the nuns kept the conservative fashions from when their orders were first established while the rest of the world moved on to other fashions. Congrats on everyone aging up.

You could try KyriaT's Paixnidi Playmat which is just a recolor of the regular infant playmat with a wood texture. Once the infant can hold toys there are a few different toy conversions you could use. For your toddler, there is a dollhouse that is basically just a pile of rocks. You should be able to find it by googling sticks and stones dollhouse. Simverses has a toybox conversion with all the usual toys converted. Some of them are a little odd for medieval, like a jade jaguar and a weird-looking egg but they are better than cars and airplanes. Zero has an umbrella mod but it never really worked for me. I might have been doing something wrong though. There's also a mod called NC4T_ILikeTheRain that is supposed to let you set who does or doesn't use an umbrella. That kind of sounds like work to me, but it's something.

Hawise eventually becomes the (relatively) modern name: Heloise. I don't think there is any real agreement online about how to pronounce it. I've heard it pronounced HAH-wise, HAY-wise, HOW-is, Hah-WEEZ, and Hah-WEE-suh. The last one, Hah-WEE-suh, seems like an unlikely guess, but is actually how you would sound out the syllables if you were following the rules for reading Middle English. I don't remember which syllable you are supposed to stress in Middle English, but I remember As are usually ah, Is are usually pronounced like a long E, and an E on the end of a word is voiced as a schwa sound. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I kinda like Hah-Wee-suh, or HOW-is, but you could probably get away with pronouncing it any way you want. Who is going to complain?

I recommend the NoAutoSwim&GainHygieneFun_Faster mod by ClaudiaSharon to help you raise your fun and hygeine at the same time. It works really well for children. Just pay attention to how cold it is and how tired they are. Sims are too dumb to stop swimming when they are freezing to death or passing out. I lost a lot of Sims that way before I got the no autonomy version. There's another mod I use for hygeine when I don't want them to take baths: Shushu's wash face at sinks. I have them do it in the rain barrel, but they can do it in any sink. You might have to do it a few times if they are really dirty, but I think the hygeine on that is more than the hairbrush which I think I saw you use in another video. I'm not sure why your cat is so miserable, but I didn't notice whether you had given it a litter box. There is a medieval box one somewhere. Oh yeah, Simverse's Tumblr. The cat might just be sick though. I rarely get pets in the Sims because of how often they get sick and it's especially bad with this challenge since you aren't supposed to take them to the vet. It drives me insane. Btw, watching you try to take care of babies was pretty funny.

Everyone gets so frustrated the first time they make butter with this mod. You need to click on the bowl of butter and "take serving". It makes 8 servings so you have to do it over and over . It's annoying, but that is how it works. Once it's divided into servings you can use it to cook with. You'll have to do that with flour as well. There are a number of things with that mod that aren't spelled out.

21:12 soooo back then they would have (likely there’s still speculation) simply used cloth the could wrap to absorb the blood and also sometime wrap cloth around moss as it was absorbent. The history of menstruation and feminine product is actually fascinating. 😅 With the slice of life mod, I’d just use a pad and call it a day, it’s the best substitute for what they would have done, even though pads didn’t exist yet.

19:37 Cross stitching wouldn’t have been a thing yet, but embroidery was. Embroidery is an OLD art! So I always just pretend my sims are embroidering in my historical gameplay, cuz it’s been around forever! Cross stitch as we know it today was a actually a newer invention (actually I don’t know for sure if this is why, but I image it has something to do with the fact that cross stitching is easier in the way that you follow an exact pattern. I do cross stitching actually and I love it because I can do something creative-esque but I’m not creative enough for embroidery! I can’t just create something like an artist does. And back then they would have had to make up the “pattern” as they went along-embroidery is hella impressive if you ask me! It’s like painting or any other art) EDIT: I found the information on the invention of the cross stitching method! Look like the earliest known example is from the 1500’s. BUT modern cross stitching is known for it’s use of not just the cross stitch technique, but also the use of cross stitch specific fabric called Aida. Before that they would have just embroidered on cloth, like linen, cotton, ect. I looked that up too cuz I realized even though I do cross stitch I did know this: Aida cloth was invented in 1890.
