Thank you for watching! This arrangement takes artistic liberties. Leo Z arranged it and did not stick perfectly to the original Bach/Gounod. There was a chamber orchestra and piano with a cello solo played beautifully by Nicole Pinnell (recently nominated for a Grammy for her work on another recording). The video was shot outside of Bologna, Italy in the Abbazia Monteveglio. The interior shots in the white room with the cellist and pianist were shot in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah School of Music.
@@divaclaritable you are commenting on the Ave Maria (which I also loved). I am referring to your Lucia in Donizetti‘s Lucia di Lammermoor. That is one of my favorite operas, and I have heard it live from the late Edita Gruberova in the Vienna State Opera (twice). Having her sound in my head I usually don‘t enjoy anybody else‘s interpretation, but I did enjoy your‘s, and that is the biggest compliment I can give to a Lucia.

We didn’t have to alter the pitch much, if at all. The first verse was sung intentionally very small and straight.
I've played for Clara in several performances. Her pitch is impeccable.
I've heard her live. She's absolutely spot on and so musically sensitive! It's sad that in this day and age we have to worry about AI music and autotune, but I can tell you this would have been even more magical live. Clara is an angel, both as a person and as a singer!
