@@WalterWild2 People lose sight of the reason for 357sig. Too many comparisons to 9mm. Another difference is, the 9mm is maxed out at the +P+ level, which is usually still below the starting velocities of the 357SIG. The standard velocity 357SIG is 1350 fps with a 125 grain bullet. The Double Taps in my guns run 1450-1500+, depending on barrel length, which puts them in the equivalent range of 125 grain, 357MAG power levels out of a 4" barreled revolver. Not to mention Underwood or Buffalo Bore. 357sig exists because the sole purpose it was created. To match the performance of a 357mag revolver out of a 4inch barrel. 357sig pulls off more velocity and energy than 9mm +p+. Is it worth it? You be the judge. I own both, so win win. Just remember why 357sig was created in 1994. Thats the real comparison. Not to mention the bottleneck cartridge makes for very reliable feeding in a semi-auto which cannot be stressed enough when you need something to depend on when things matter most. If you are unfamiliar with why 357sig exist then I encourage you to do more research about it. 9mm in any load doesn't remove the reason for 357sig to exist. Love 9mm and all the loads it offers, but 357sig has a place. LEO'S loved the 357sig as a duty weapon. It's proven itself in many shootings to be effective. We should ask ourselves does the +p+ compare to 357mag and take over 357sigs main purpose to exist? That is the real comparison.

@ For secret service or military with their multi billion budget I can see it. But at $20 a mag a civilian has better options. Yeah 9 mil won’t necessarily drop a guy with a gut shot, but you hear of gunman take a dozen rounds of 45 and still being active. I say shot placement trumps caliber and it takes practice to get that. I don’t think 44,000 psi is going to do my hearing any good either. I also assume I would go flash blind trying to stop the burglar

@@stackzfamily I've wondered the same. I have both. I'm going to test this myself soon so stay tuned. The g32c is louder, but more enjoyable to shoot. I'm thinking the difference is very little.

@@Angieson29 yep, sure have. Its a pretty cool round. Puts up impressive numbers. Not very practical or available anymore though. Still would be fun to have

Well I own sigs too but do love the 357 sig round. I am surprised it hasn't taken off like 10mm

@tiogajohnston5958 10 supposedly is focused towards hunters. I have no idea why people complain 40 is snappy, and then the market puts out compact 10s. Both 40 and 357 are better alternatives to 9.

@FoulPet I agree I love 40 and 357 but it is snappy compared to my 365 macro 9mm but I practice with every caliber. I like to be able to pick up anything and be efficient. I like 357 sig more than 10mm

@@amandasmith2965 ok that is good to hear. I'm interested as well. When I read about their velocity and energy numbers listed my immediate reaction was to check youtube for someone who has actually tested these in a Chrono. Nothing which made me want to purchase them even more. I have two G32's but I want to shoot these out of a G31. So I need to buy a G31 and a chrono. Then I will make a video. I mean a 124gr pushing 660 pounds of energy is impressive.

@SmokinSigs I just need a Glock 33 then I have the whole set. I love 357 sig. But.40 is cheaper to shoot . I bought the 40S&W ( Glock 22& 23) and a Glock 31 and 32 barrel from the Glock store ( they drop right in with no modification needed). Plus you can get the police trade in guns stupid cheap.

@@amandasmith2965 thats awesome! I have a g19x (cheap to shoot) and two g32's. Gen 3 g32c and gen 4 g32. When I heard glock most likely isn't making a gen 5 in g31,32, or 33 I immediately went and got another g32. I'd like to find a G31C which is my next goal. As far as glock barrel I purchased the g23 barrel from glock. I've been shooting 357sig for so long now I just prefer it over the rest. I enjoy shooting 9 or 40, but went I shoot the 357sig it just feels like I'm shooting something with real pop to it. As far as daily carry though I use my g32. A G33 would be fun to shoot too im sure. I really wish they would make them in gen 5 but doesn't look like it will happen. So now is the time for you to get the g33 and complete your set.

@@angrysheepdog9744 on their site. ITS CRAZY numbers so when my local shop had it I grabbed them because I want to test if its even close. Check their site. Plus, I made a video talking about it too and showed their numbers.

If they hold up to those numbers they report then it would be very impressive. We shall see
