i paid the the license on several radios and no matter what i do i can not get any to pair or connect or program at all

For the Bluetooth programming, the license you need to purchase, is it per radio? Or a license for the user’s computer? I have 3 nx5000 mobiles…

Many of these 12V - 5V converters also put significant noise on the 5V powerline. This can be seen with an oscilloscope: I clocked one at 1.3 V p-p distortion..that's 26% distortion on a 5V output.

So what is the fix to the interference??? We all need to charge something in our vehicle. And many times, while using the charger when listening to our local radio station, the static happens.

Question..Will a factory reset in service menu fix my second hdmi port seeing a signal. My lamp hrs is 700hr. Will the reset also reset the bulb timer? Hope not?

What a waste of time this was. I had already figured out the source. Was looking to find out if there was a fix for it. You never even posed the question. I'm sure I'll find one but no body was home here.

This is what iv been looking for. Have found it hard to get info on a radio that has a clean install going in my new truck

One thing that's not discussed too often is the amount of options these radios have with out having to purchase additional licensing like Motorola has done. The instant recall requires no license, Motorola requires a license or does not have it. Custom voice announcement, call routing, Bluetooth, gps, dtmf air remote, control station conversion- these are just some of the things these mobiles can do with out license.

Perhaps provide recommendations on what adapters are low noise? Or is it possible to modify it to reduce noise?

For those people bitching on here about the update using RS232, your internet or provided by router and switches that are also configured with that same connection. Holy Hell!!

Love the idea, still trying to wrap my head around the price. Currently have an RS2000 and love it. So I would get an extra 600lm HDR+ and 8K E-Shift for the similar RS 3100 for double the price? I am curious but will be sticking with my RS2000 at that much of a gap.

Got to say, for a line of projectors that you're touting to be gaming oriented, the omission of VRR support is dumbfounding.

In BC calling the correct order on the radio is Road - Km - Up/Down and try not to use Pick Up in your call!!

The 2010 models were updated through a simple mini USB port. The 2011 models updated through an ethernet cable, which was already a step backwards. It seems now we need a USB to serial and a freaking modem cable? Why is JVC going back in time?

For those of us in, or on, vehicles could you discuss whether it is worthwhile to connect the HT to a 5/8 wave antenna? I've seen it done but there are debates as to whether they are getting much of an improvement in performance. I wear earplugs under a helmet while riding a quad, which makes it very difficult to hear the radio even at max. volume. Using an earpiece would mean giving up one earplug, which would not be ideal. Is there another solution? Thx.
