Sickness really _is_ a trial when you put your faith in the lord and stop going to doctors. It's amazing how many people who leave their cancer treatments in God's hands just...you know...die. Almost as if their prayers are falling on deaf ears -- or none at all. You'd think God would want to help those people, but for every story of God "healing" someone's terminal illness, there are a thousand stories of people who died terribly because they decided prayer was a viable substitute for medicine.

Age-segregated teaching cannot be wrong since this is necessary in homeschooling. All home schoolers do this to some extent. It is unwise to teach a teenager predestination in the same way you do with a 3-yr old. Even Joel Beeke’s Genesis series (Beginning, Wilderness… family worship series) which we use at home is age-appropriate. However, as Lord’s Day worship is a supernatural personal and corporate encounter with the Living God, no child or youth should be excluded from encountering God together in worship with all the saints and angels, corporately. Why can’t ’Sunday School’ be the 30m after the worship service to discuss practical obedience of the Word preached? This all-age worship is biblical. Let the kids encounter God Himself together with everyone else. Please also check out: What Happens When We Worship. Just because some very few ignorant or selfish or pious-sounding Christians claim ‘people’ should not be distracted on Sundays from worshipping, by children, they need to re-examine themselves. Are we not all distracted from looking unto Jesus all day every day? From the glory of Christ, as John Owen aptly put this. Do we not have to re-boot (renew our minds with thoughts of God) each time we are distracted day to day from prayerful reliance? If you habitually do not try this [reboot to Christ whenever distracted by fleshy thoughts, striving to put to death the deeds of the body by the Spirit, to live] from Monday to Saturday, no wonder you cannot be at all distracted from piety on Sundays. Distractions is no excuse to exclude the little ones from worshipping Christ. At its worst, the child can be comforted, supported with quiet explanation or disciplined depending on whether the parent perceives a hunger, thirst, a confusing meltdown or an outright rebellion. However, I would be a hypocrite if I say age-segregated Bible teaching per se is wrong (that is, provided that teaching happens outside or after Sunday worship services) because I home-schooled my kids before adulthood. And, as far as I know, we homeschoolers invariably practise age-appropriate instruction.

It's all fun and games until the dark side of human nature shows up. Biblical counseling is about as helpful as telling someone they need to pray harder. Telling them that all of their problems are a result of their sin is what Jobs friends did as Satan drags them away from the love of God.

lately strange things have been happening like I will complain about traffic and people have been moving out of the way. I can just leave my house earlier. I dont like to tell people everything about my daily rountine.

I keep thinkg about that show with Adam Sandler when he did that movie where he had that remote he got from the BEYOND section of bed, bath, beyond. He fast forwards through traffic, just about everything

Grad school ( i dropped out) I did not graduate or get a degree, it wasnt stressful or overwhelming to the point where I needed to say "JUST BREATh" I just rotate small sayings pick me ups to push through

If I say I feel very loved and accepted in my home it doesnt mean I felt left out in the past.

I think I dont need to waste my time on others things. They are little and need me.
