I think if we are just talking looks alone some of these passport bros who claim Asian women are the best looking, I think if they could pull a young beautiful feminine european woman as easy they probably take the latter. In my opinion if you take a 10 Asian woman and a 10 european woman(I'm talking model looks) with big natural blue/green eyes( not coloured contacts like a lot of Asian women wear) and a perfect figure, there really is no competition. I do think some people overhype Bangkok and Thailand somewhat but nowhere is going to be perfect for everyone. I also don't want to be one of these expats who only ever hangs out with other expats. If I move to a foreign country I want to learn the language and make friends and contacts with the local people. I think that in Thailand you will probably always be considered a foreigner no matter how long you've lived there. At least where you are now in Argentina you have a chance to meet and mingle with the locals there rather than be stuck in an expat community.

Is it easy to get a rental apartment as a foreigner? How did you do it?

I was staying at a nicer complex across the street. If you do a 1 year lease this area $400 -$450 month. If you’re renting monthly off Airbnb it’s $800-$1000 monthly depending size. I’m paying $837 now month off Airbnb in Phrom Phong but nicer unit and gym. Only because I’m only on tourist stamp.

I like the fact you can use that sliding door to seal off the kitchen (and smells) from the rest of the apartment. That's not a common feature and, especially in the bachelor flat, is very important.

Hi im from Bangkok. This apartment should be half the rental price. The location is not prime. You can find many cheaper similar options.

The name of the condo complex appears to be IDEO Condos in the Sukhumvit/Asoke area in Bangkok. This name is on the outside of the building and at the front desk.
