Yeah absolutely. Couldn't agree more. Our longest playthrough was a stalker survival. Such a happy medium for everything on stalker difficulty.

😂 exactly. This vid was from prior to the release of 0.1.1 and we haven't had many issues since. Regardless though, nothing is worse than getting one shorted when looting 😂

I kept missing the time checkpoint (not sure by how much) with each way I tried until this one, and I'd like to think I stayed at max speed the entire time... maybe not though. Sometimes you'll have enemies spawn and shooting at you, other times they won't. Perhaps I was too focused on kills once or twice. This is good info, and yet another way to complete this - thanks Spiny for checking this out and leaving a comment! 🔥🙏

@ I mainly followed the path but took small shortcuts the entire way. Might have something to do with idk, never really times myself lol

@@spinylogo3750 yeah thats totally fair, the timing can be a very hard thing to judge or track. Sometimes I think that by taking "shortcuts" I'm saving time, then I run into something I can't pass or hit a tree and just wasted more time than if I'd have just stuck to the planned route. 🤣

Wrong. Take the train tracks right behind over the tunnel then make a u turn into the cross way. Turn around again and proceed to get an ez bronze

@BigDrew49 thanks for the info, Drew! To be fair, I never said this was the only way/only path to complete this mission. As like many others where you're able to decide your own path to finish the mission, this was just the route I found that helped me to get gold. If there's an easier way even still though, that's awesome! I might have to check this out for myself just because. I appreciate the comment, and thanks for checking this out! 🙏

@Nunya111 that's a good point, thanks Nunya! I'm personally just a completionist by nature though, and I'm going to be grabbing golds on each of the missions instead of just the 70 required for the trophy/achievement. And for me, going for the gold shortly after completing the mission keeps things fresh for me and also mildly holds me accountable to go back and do it. A lot of the time, once I complete the story, I get caught up in all of the other things to do in games this size - especially considering RDO - and its just a way to make sure I actually get them done. That is a VERY good note for those just seeking to accomplish the trophy, complete the story and then just complete the easier golds if and when possible!

@Viren_69 are you in the correct hallways? Not all of them in the end area have sprinklers. If you are, are you lighting the cloth of your weapon before you use it, and are you near enough to the sprinklers to set them off? Is it that the sprinklers aren't turning on? Or the achievement/trophy isn't popping? I haven't seen anything specific to this one, but I have seen people mention about needing to relog or reload saves numerous times to unlock. Hopefully something here helps, otherwise, maybe it's bugged for ya? Not sure how that happens though... Let me know, good luck! 🙏

@@Viren_69 ah that's brutal, sorry to hear! It sucks because there's really only the one area in the game that you can collect this, and of course it's at the end of the game. Definitely let me know when you get it! It's easy to get, but also easy to miss... yours just sounds bugged for some reason, as long as the weapon that you're using is actually ignited when getting near the sprinklers. They're just not turning on?

Thanks for the added information! We knew that depending on the difficulty it affected the loot chance in each cache but weren't sure the ratios. Which difficulty do you enjoy The Long Dark on?

@ I normally play on stalker cus i like the challenge as much as i enjoy being a loot goblin lol. Id play on interloper regularly but it often feels like theres nothing around worth looting. As much as i enjoy the challenge, the only thing about interloper i dont like is that a significant portion of the challenge itself comes from the lack of loot where as id prefer a challenge in spite of excess loot

That would be the absolute worst experience ever to have to trek through those tunnels 6 times, probably took you forever! Couldn't agree more though, the absolute worst part for sure is navigating those tunnels. Lastly, about your comment I had no idea there was another way to get to Far Range Branch line using Landslide in Broken Railroad. We'll have to check this out at some point, thanks for the comment!

@Der_silberne_Befreier hey there, things might be different now since this game has had a considerable amount added to it since the time I originally put this video together... but, if I remember correctly, you can't actually fish the exotics over again. And I don't think they had aberration versions either. Not quite sure the state of things now, though!

@friendlyfrenzygames Thanks for the reply. Actually, you can get em' with the exotic/special bait (or anyways it's called), so yeah... FINALLY GOT ALL THE EXOTIC ONES including the Deep form, which is an aberration and needs that type of bait. The aberrated one. Also, new sub.

And for the baits and my intentions... complete the collection is my last mission in the game after having completed all the DLCs (meaning that there are actually 230 species to catch) and get the aberrated form of the exotic fishes was impossible to me before this little investigation Also, if my english isn't good-good, I'm the one who will be sorry.
