I'm never uninstalling The Long Drive
Our multiplayer adventure through the "The Long Drive" beta update continues!! Despite the size of the update we did NOT read the patch notes as thoroughly as we thought😂 Some surprises are best experienced that way. Who knew you could make snow forts and throw snowballs now?! Back after ditching the new Lamborghini Countach from last episode, our "heroes" continue just not being good at driving and finding new and creative ways to get distracted at every possible opportunity. Enjoy!

When I got the notification that The Long Drive got an update, you know I *RAN* to tell Garrett and install it! The anniversary update beta brings a whole new procedural generation engine (or something like that), completely changing the game as we know it! Supposedly the multiplayer has been "greatly improved". We'll let you decide that... I know it still has a lot to go before it's fully stab...

What are your specs and settings. My game works so much worse even though I do have a really good pc (3070, i5 9600k)
Nothing crazy. I run a 1080ti, a Ryzen 7 cpu (don’t remember which one), and 64gb of ram. I haven’t messed with the in game settings a lot, just turned heat distortion off. I think it might be a memory heavy game.
I play this game on my rtx3050 ryzen 7 laptop. And it works fine max settings
i had big performance issues with windows hdr enabled, turning that off made mine run nicely with 1080 and i5 12th gen

If you tilt a barrel over and just walk into it, the game doesnt calculate the weight and you can roll it like it's nothing. I use that trick all the time while raiding the shipwrecks

On Steam, right click the game and choose "Properties". Go to "Betas" and you can select which beta you'd like to run. The current one is listed in the patch notes.

If the game had an option where cars can't break so easily, I reckon that the lambo would be super, SUPER fun to drive around recklessly. Just imagine how fun that would be.
