i do not have the import in the settings menu, however if i go down there's an import if i press it it just sends me to the higher import tab displays the menus however my interface is still the same

Thanks for your help, I've been trying to find where the dashboard menu went for a while now. Did Wordpress change the interface? Just one more question. How can I get my Wordpress homepage back to how it was originally? For instance, I hovered the mouse over 'My site' and then the drop down menu would appear.
