Our hospital's Learning and Development Unit flagged off the 2024 Quarter 2 Training Program for every staff with the theme: Enhancing Support Services Excellence in Healthcare.
The training program, which is multi-phased, began with the junior staff who learned about bringing to life the Immaculate Heart of Mary brand, communication skills, safety at work, work ethics as well stress management.
The essence of the training is to improve our healthcare service delivery and ensure that our compassion-driven care is embrace at all levels of service.

2024 World Glaucoma Week was an opportunity for us at Immaculate Heart of Mary Specialist Hospital, Nkpor to provide free eye care for the people of Anambra State, Nigeria. We screened over 700 people with bad sight, identified people who could potentially go blind and provided free treatment, medication and glasses at a token fee.
