2023: this is the best plot of any sports movie. A total dream, a team from nowhere plays a world famous team. Although it is all star break and all of the rangers stats are at the all star game. This AHL level team the rangers fielded were held toe to toe by a team of 9 skaters. This is a true story and bringing big time actors Burt Renolds (Judge/Coach) and Russel Crowe (Sheriff/Coach), although the corniness. This in my mind is a true hockey movie, over Slap Shot. Slap Shot brings in non-hockey fans, while Mystery, Alaska… it’s the true roots of the sport of hockey.

1-3-1 is shitty af
As a defensive minded hockey insider, I actually like the 1-3-1. In NHL 18, I don’t always use it, especially against the good teams, but a 1-3-1 is a PERFECT setup as long as your players stay between the puck and the net and yet still utilize an aggressive 1-2-2 forecheck.
I saw this movie when it came out in theaters and headed straight to the rink afterwards. I think I skated about 5-6 hours that night. Inspiring shit.

MY TEAM USES THE 1-2-2 TRAP!
In NHL 18 I utilize a 1-2-2 aggressive forecheck and use a 1-3-1 defensive zone trap. It’s a great combo in my opinion, because you’re still knocking opponents off the puck and yet still defending your net very well.

i can relate to tht. my team uses a 1-3-1 and a 2-2-1 fore check. not many times can get counter that if its used right. everyone has to be in on it for it to work effectively.

I have a team that pretty much doesn't play as a team. I always thought when the puck got passed to when I was forechecking it was sort of my fault. I realized in order for these plays to work every person needs to put there role into the play. Thanks so much for making this video helped me a lot!!!

No , follow my words --my point is that the goal in the USA is to advance players to higher levels =D1 with the ultimate goal of NHL. Yet we continue to move the rules and the game in the USA further away from the oregins in Canada .This results in USA players being at a disadvantage when they travel north and or advance to higher levels. In addition in the feeding programs, officials are not prepared nor secure in all the rule changes.
