Welcome to Out and About Ventures, Our RUclips channel was started in 2022 to share our adventures. This channel started out with the simple goal of making memories while exploring trails and surrounding areas in beautiful Colorado. It's about getting out and enjoying all that life has to offer. Vail Pass Bike Trail / Amazing View's for 15 miles
Overview
The Vail Pass Recpath runs for 14.8 miles between Copper Mountain and outside of Vail. The paved path runs along Interstate 70 from Gore Creek Campground, just east of Vail, until its southern endpoint.

The Vail Pass Recpath is a popular route for cyclists, incline skaters, and hikers who seek a paved off-road route through spectacular mountain scenery. East of Vail, the northern endpoint sits at the end of Bighorn Road, just under 10,000 feet of elevation. Riding Red Rocks Canyon with a great bunch of riders near Colorado Springs. About 20 of us met at the Trails End brewery in Colorado Springs near the entrance to Red Rocks Canyon Open Space. It's a beautiful bike ride with some snow & 50degress @OutandAboutVentures Red Rocks Canyon's open spaces are so nice to ride. Road about 9 miles and has some amazing terrain. From easy riding to technical riding, this place is only about 10 minutes West of downtown Colorado Springs, CO.

it just seems from other videos that I’ve watched on other channels that there are a lot of guard rails everywhere else? Is that true? It doesn’t look that bad driving. I drove Rocky Rocky Mountain national Park, but I didn’t get all the way to the top, I was terrified.

This guy is airing down at medano pass. Are you kidding me yeah to be honest if you're not a dummy you can make it through without airing down because it's pretty well hard packed sand.
We had never been there before.And the signage says recommended to air down so we air down. Yes, it can be done without airing down if you keep your speed up and depending on the type of vehicle you have. But we didn't know about the trail ahead of time, it's best to do what the signs say as direct until you know better.

What’s the build on the Tacomas? Trying to see if mine can handle chicken scratch hill, done it in a Jeep but it was years ago. Great video!
All 3 Toyota have 33-inch tires with a 3-inch lift. King suspension. 2 automatics 1 manual.
Made it down with a stock long bed. Last November. No problems at all

I would have pulled to the side to make sure the cop didn't try to blame the other person. At the very least I would give the person who got hit a link to this video.
There were other people who went over to check after I went around the corner. A lot of people saw what happened. The police just had brain fade.

2 female cops in the car stopped next to me at the stop light. They must have been just talking to each other or looking away. Foot came of the brake rolled forward and hitthe car in front of them.
