Living in New Jersey | Moving to New Jersey
New Jersey actually has a lot more than you think like actually 50s diners, sooooo many giant malls and outdoor malls and so many community and professional theaters, and sooo much more
collingswood ?.....only if your husband wears a dress.....
The reason I dislike Cherry hill is the school I went too West back some 30 years ago is 1 of the worse high schools I ever graduated at…the culture there was toxic back then I am class of 1993. I should have never went to that school. I was treated poorly through the student body and so much more. Glad that is behind me now.
Calling everything around Ambler “Ambler” is a very new development. 20 years ago, as soon as you got out of the borough, people would refuse to say they lived in Ambler. They lived in Spring House, Upper Dublin, Lower Gwynedd, Blue Bell, Whitpain, Maple Glenn, and anything else they could come up with. Ambler was an asbestos manufacturing town that was not considered a nice place to live and it took 10+ years after it became nice for people to recognize its improvement. Your address saying “Ambler” means you get mail from the Ambler post office, not that you live in Ambler. There are not million dollar estates in Ambler.
Hi, thank you for the video. I’ll be moving to NJ, working at Budd Lake and looking for good area to search for apartment. Where would you recommend? Looking for town/downtown with nearby groceries, and shops. Plus point is if they are within walking distance.Female, by myself no kids.
Reasons to go to New Jersey: 1. There is none. Moving to New Jersey? Here’s a tip: Don’t. Best thing to do in New Jersey: Leave *yes I have beef with a whole ass state
Live here, only reason to be here is for school nothing else
Def but if you dont have a family most ppl leave
What about Camden it’s self there great house there Cramer hill is one of the best area too
Would love to move there but there seems like there’s no way of transportation if unable to drive
Burlington County Local and Superior Court Judiciary - Third World Quality, Basis for Residing Elsewhere [1] When selecting a county in which to reside there are dozens of obvious factors to consider - crime rate (that which occurs outside the courtroom), taxes (that which government stands prepared to evict you and steal your home if you fail to timely pay), quality and availability of public school education (none of which are going to earn you admission to an Ivy League university), proximity to work (Burlington County is primarily comprised of bedroom communities where people spend their non-income producing work hours, rather than work), affordability of quality housing (local NJ zoning and code enforcement is akin to that of rural Mississippi and Alabama (approaching third world, for substandard housing construction quality, essentially a collection of maintenance time bombs, rendering economic survival a matter of timing - a question of how soon to sell following initial construction). [2] One factor NEVER CONSIDERED and NEVER MENTIONED, but none the less critical affecting both short and long term quality of life and personal safety is the quality and availability of competent, honest, diligent, ethical and professional judges both at the local and county level. Yes, life happens to each of us and sooner or later, either that which we navigate ourselves into, somebody we, either know, or didn't decided to do to us, is going to happen. Ultimately, life is akin to an ongoing game of Russian Roulette where sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you. After all is said and done, it's only a matter of time. [3] Prior to setting off on a trip, most opt to ensure ample gas in the tank and maintain a certain level of maintenance on the vehicle so as to reduce the likelihood of an untimely and inconvenient mechanical break down. Prior to going for a swim in deep, dark current driven waters, most will have prepared via swimming lessons and prudently regulate the degree of exposure to life threatening conditions. For those that don't, funeral homes operate 24/7. Prior to sharing the public highways (akin to those you encounter in the public school system) you assume the risks. To protect you from the recklessness of others, the State mandates mandatory insurance coverage. [4] Unless 60 Minutes had visited and aired a story regarding a question of integrity regarding officials staffing and operating your local town or county government offices, you will never have considered the integrity of, either the collection of local, or county judiciary through which you daily travel, or reside. Like a silent, hidden hand of cancer, judicial jurisdictions, together with their innate imperfections follow each of us, stalking us like a menacing shadow. It's ever present, constant, and waiting for an inopportune occasion to introduce itself. [5] Unfortunately, the Burlington County New Jersey Superior Court system is one of the lowest rated for staff competency, honesty, personal integrity, diligence, ethics and professionalism. Don't take my word for it, take the time to discover and experience it yourself. While pondering an effective post-retirement and long term assisted living financial plan, don't neglect a parallel track for `unexpected' legal expenses. [6] By definition, each of us is always some place, if only temporarily passing through and in route to, or relaxing in our little dream spot or hell hole somewhere on the planet. Where ever you are present at a given moment determines which judicial jurisdiction governs, both that which you do and your rights as affected by the free will exercised of others. [7] In an ideal world, one would expect, but in all too many places, can at best only hope that the judicial systems governing us were staffed by individuals with the innate personal integrity of ... Cesar's wife? [8] Welcome to Burlington County, New Jersey! A spot on the planet Ceasar's wife never knew existed and, as coincidence would have it, even fewer County judges are encumbered by her sense of personal integrity toward the letter, spirit, and intent of the law and, by extension, your rights both quantified by and under the law. [9] To be clear, nobody moves to Burlington County New Jersey for the quality of, either its local, or county judicial systems, let alone some of the cartoon characters that staff them. However, their immutable `shortcomings' have, in point of fact, provided more than ample reason to abandon that forever home, flee and settle elsewhere. to be continued ... M.P.

What about military veterans ? Is the cost of living affortable for retired veterans?
Why are you showing pictures of center-city Philadelphia while you're talking about Cherry Hill? Cherry Hill may have SOME tall buildings too, but its not THOSE tall buildings. Why are you adding to the East-West rivalry in Cherry Hill, and favoring East? West Cherry Hill has is more established ... more mature trees, more mature lawns, better parks, equal schools, and more affordable. Why are you showing pictures of the Camden waterfront while you're talking about Voorhees? If you want convenient commuting to Philadelphia, why not Lindenwold? Or Pennsauken? Or even Camden? The people in the eastern and southern parts of Camden county will certainly disagree with you.
All five towns has the same demographics.
Thanks
I grew up in fairview secton of camden, moved to westmont near the high school. I watched when cherry hill mall was built, and remember when it was delaware township. haddonfield was the place to go for shopping. now collingswood has come a long way.
Thank you so much for this Video.. im an Italian raised in Newyork that now have a family, and i want to mobe in nj i hope is a better life.. id like to buy a house..
Best place with great schools and affordable housing in NJ?
..the video needs more información , population , tendendency..is up or down , weather, criminality rate or ranking, Home price average.. things like that .
Jersey is special. The most ignorant people on the planet.
The death tax is insane! My sister died ,i live with her ,this is my home! Death tax exempts parents, children even step children and spouses, but not siblings! Its insane! We share the same DNA! Im also disabled. I am exempt for the first $25,000 then its 11%of the house etc. Who has that kind of money hanging around? The house is $250,000. After 1 year they add on interest! Im tryouts to figure out how to not lose my home. If anybody knows of anything that can help me please let me know!😮😮😮
NJ beaches are like clay .Yuk
How ‘bout Camden itself, that’s a nice place!
So nothing pretty much to do. That sucks
Lol, I've been to NJ, and the only thing I enjoyed was the NYC view😂
You forgot beautiful Camden, NJ, with its beautiful Rutgers University, hospitals, aquarium, battleship museum, and hookers. It's only a 5 minute commute from Philly across the bridge. And housing is VERY affordable. Of course, if you're a real snob, you may check out nearby Pennsauken or Gloucester City. LOL 🪳
Camden is rated one of the worst places to live in the country, due to violence, homelessness and housing in general! Sorry!😮😮😮
@@dianewilliams1125 Re-read my comment.......I was being sarcastic!
@@themagus5906 I know, but others might have not gotten it!
@@dianewilliams1125 I grew up in the fairview section, in the 50s until 61, then moved to haddon twp. then fairview was fairly safe, now, when I go back, you have boarded up homes on the street that I lived on, and the church down the street is always locked.
@@williamthawley9251 l grew up in South Plainfield a beautiful growing community. I don't even recognize the place,I went back to help my sister to sell our parents home. Couldn't wait to get out! Horrible place,so incredibly sad! I guess you can't go home! Peace!
New Jersey is so bad. Smart people will never move here.
from the words of a scholar !!! LOL read a book !!!!
I absolutely hate everything about NJ.
NJ is the armpit of the country. COLD, TAXES AND OLD.
NJ sucks for so many reasons.
Yeah NJ wouldn’t be for my nature lol I am a take my time, slower paced, stop and smell the roses type of person.
Good day to you! Im from Pennsylvania so ive dealt with a few Jerseyans and i honestly got along with them quite well! So just a negative stereotype 😂 have yourself a great day
NJ IS TO COLD ,TO OLD, AND TO TAXED,..........NO THANK YOU.
Number five reason not move to New Jersey, Governor Murphy and his hostility toward taxpayers 😊
In Every other state in the union including California a parent can buy a BB gun for their kid in any store. In NJ a BB gun, pellet gun or even airsoft gun is treated like a Real firearm! That is the level of control they have.
I’ve lived within the same 10 miles of where I was born in New Jersey. I am the fifth generation to live here, and I love going to the state parks or taking the train up to New York City. And you are exactly correct on it only takes like two hours to get anywhere in this state. You just have to know when to go on the road and when not.
how tf u 45 w a tongue ring?? sheesh.
I have lived in New Jersey, my whole life and I understand you saying if you want to be alone don’t come to New Jersey. But there are places in New Jersey that are incredibly beautiful and there’s no one there. It’s a state parks in the county parks any given day, you should be the only one there.
Where do you work?
The only issue I have is when looking at a house with 5 rooms. Great video.
Cheaper to leave this socialist state than pay the pensions and benefits !
Living in nj is all cons …no pros..
NJ will kill you on property tax … anywhere in jersey..
I don't know if im right but aren't you that racist politician that hated black kids? Please correct me if im wrong
I like Candem and Kensington.
I am from Upstate New York wanting to move to New Jersey. Not sure which county to move though 🤨
I plan to move to the US.I watch videos on RUclips about American culture, American personality traits, and American cities, in fact all cities in the US are amazing 😍 I'm fond of New Jersey, Chicago, and Philadelphia however I live in a warm weather year round country I don't know if I will be able to handle the cold weather in northern states like New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania so I intend to settle in Orlando Florida because of its warm weather year round.I feel so sad that I can't settle in New Jersey because of its cold weather 😭 Thanks so much for your effort 🙏
Yeah I know what you mean about the cold weather just be careful of Florida you know they got sinkholes down there and alligators and things like that just beware that you're going to be homeless for a little while because everybody's going to Florida so they don't make them any houses down there for everybody who's moving there I was going to move to Florida too but I changed my mind it's over crowded too many people is there for me to have to deal with and then you got all the bugs which thats everywhere you go when you're dealing with the heat and so I said I'm just going to stay up north Everybody's moving to North Carolina and Florida and all those hot places it can get crowded I lived in Texas and I was homeless for months because everybody was moving there and they don't build that many houses for the all those people's
Speaking about aggressive drivers yes, NJ is pretty bad but imo the worst are MA, CT, PA (philly) and top of the list....drum roll is FL. Absolutely, no etiquette whatsoever when driving.
Hahaha!
I moved back to Jersey from Jacksonville Fl, last year to help my mom. I"m transferring back to Fl in July. I didn't realize how inconvenient of a State Jersey is. The commutes, traffic, high cost of living is stressful and depressing. Don't get me wrong, I love Jersey, it just doesn't love me back 😂Much better lifestyle in Fl and I don't live paycheck to paycheck. My Jersey salary goes far in Fl. The weather is amazing.
That’s mostly related to North Jersey . I live in South Jersey and you can’t pay me enough to move up north. I traffic issues, live right at the shore, not much ride people and crazy drivers. Takes me 3 minutes to get to work. Love it. Cost of living much less too. But the taxes are the same of course .
Jersey is a wonderful place to live, but yes, cost of living is definitely a huge factor.
Let me add, that New Jersey is the worst state to die in. It has a highly discriminatory death tax. It penalizes the child-free (your children and spouse are not subject to this tax). When I die, I want my assets to go to my niece and nephew, however, New Jersey Inheritance Tax will grab 15-16% of my assets. There is a big $500.00 exemption. This is the worst death tax in the country. If my wife dies first (she will not move), I will sell the house and move 1000 feet north into New York. New York has a 6 million dollar exemption.
Your wife is exempt for everything! Spouses, parents, children even step children are,but not siblings which is what I'm dealing with now! You don't have to move if you or your wife dies, you are safe from the tax! S
@@dianewilliams1125 Yes, I am safe if my wife dies first. However, I have no children, etc. I want my assets to go to my niece and nephew, but NJ will steal a big hunk of my assets
@@paul6096 The first $25,000 is exempt, but 11% will be the amount of the remaining assets! Totally stinks! I'm going thru this with my sister estate that I live in!
Higher property tax in country Gun regulations Street conditions High Rent cause is close to NY
New Jersey is a beautiful place with satan's spawn in Trenton.
