Great message today, went to our church here in Canon City, CO then listened to this one online. We struggle a lot with our extended family who claim to be Christian but still live in darkness and practice sin. This was really helpful to know that the boundaries we have set are instructions from God’s word as I have studied the scriptures about this situation. I am thankful for God’s truth and I abide in Him and His word. He is the final authority. God Bless you, Church!

56:14 Ive never thought about how dwelling on my failures takes away from glorifying God and relying on God. It makes sense when put into this light. Dwelling on the failures puts all the reliance on self to overcome those failures, to overcome the sadness and depression that those failures bring, and dwelling on those failures also detracts from what God has for us and how God is using those failures to correct us, guide us, and introduce new opportunities and people into our lives. 🙏

From the description of the Christ's theophany as described in Daniel 10:5-6; Revelation 1: 1-17; Matthew 17:2; Ezekiel 9:3-4, could it be concluded that they are One and the same as the man in Mark 14:50-51? Could it be said that since it became inevitable that Jesus had to go to the cross and die, but that the God part of Him had to be separated from the man part that had to pay the sin wages for the world? He was infilled by the Holy Spirit at baptism, and He had to go to the cross as a man, and God the Father had to forsake Him until the 3rd day, when He was resurrected with His glorious body and ascended back to heaven, to His Father? Just appeared like Melchizedeck, who had neither beginning nor ending, but He is the Beginning and the Ending. The first Adam was naked, and a sinless animal was killed for him to be clothed, so also, was the last Adam, He was slain for believers to be clothed with the righteousness of God. He would be clothed with a glorified body three days from then, as He resurrected from the dead, and wipe off all shame of nakedness of sin and its consequences, from His people and restore them to the former lost glory.
