I would assume you would raise temperature a bit and then perculate with ice cold water to simulate spring. Not that I'm saying you're incorrect but logically in my head it makes more sense. Only thing I would do differently is to get the little bubble of air out of the syringe before adding it to my substrate. Also I wear a mask so no chance of contamination
