Updated Railway Crossing - Märklin H0
The railway crossing is now updated (Arduino Uno, MG90S servo motors) and integrated into a control system running on a PC. The barriers start closing when the train is 250 cm from the crossing or when the train leaves the station.
The inspiration came from level crossings in Slovenia.

Schöne Anlage mit Fehlern. Ausfahrsignal zeigt Fahrtbegriff aber es fährt ein Zug ein.
Das stimmt, lässt sich aber bei analogen Automatiken nur sehr schwer vermeiden. Das Signal hält den Zug an, indem es die Stromzufuhr zum Gleis vor dem Signal abschaltet. Daher muss es auch dann geöffnet sein, wenn der Zug in die entgegengesetzte Richtung fährt. Was mich bei analogen Automatiken aber mehr stört, ist das plötzliche Anhalten der Züge. Ich empfehle euch, auch meine neueren Videos anzuschauen, in denen digitale Automatiken zum Einsatz kommen. Grüße, Borut

Nice job. What software are you using? How does it know where the trains are? Contact tracks?
You are right, synchronization is done with contact tracks. If you look closely, you will see in the last minute of the video the triangles that turn green when the train arrives. Sometimes the train is late (the visualization stops), other times it is too fast (the visualization skips). I made the PC program myself and am still improving it. Thank you for the compliment. Mein PC-Modelleisenbahn-Steuerungsprogramm ist noch nicht für den breiteren Einsatz bereit, aber ich arbeite daran. Ich muss zusätzliche Funktionalitäten und bessere Benutzeroberflächen für die Eingabe von Daten zu Gleisen und Weichen vorbereiten. Die größte Herausforderung für mich ist nun „Manuelle Steuerung mit Computersteuerung“. Das Feature richtet sich an Kinder, die kein Interesse an Vollautomatisierung haben... Wenn die erste Version des Programms fertig ist, werde ich ein Präsentationsvideo vorbereiten. Grüße, Borut

Una excelente maqueta. Jo también estoy construyendo un circuito mixto como usted. Pero tengo dudas sobre la instalación eléctrica de los semáforos i desvíos. Circulación de las maquinas con Mobile Station 2. Todo lo demás analógico. Podría indicar como ha conectado los cables tanto analógicos y digitales. Anlagemaße ist 190 cm x 320 cm. Die Automatisierung erfolgt durch den Anschluss des Computers an den CAN-Bus, der die Steuerung von Lokomotiven, Weichen und Signalen ermöglicht. Das Steuerungsprogramm habe ich selbst programmiert. Viele Grüße Borut
Sehr schönes Video mit einer tollen alten Modelleisenbahn. Ich selber fahre rein digital auf Zweileiter Gleisen und bin dennoch immer noch von den alten analogen Märklin Eisenbahnen auf M-Gleis begeistert.
