Can this Ruger Pass My Range Reliability Test with Glock Mags?
Просмотров 3714 дней назад
This was my Ruger PC Charger that was replaced by Ruger and their great customer service. They could not solve the Failure To Feed malfunctions I had with the original one I got soon after its market release in 2020. How has the replacement been doing 4 years later?

I rode my Honda Gold Wing Tour two hours for breakfast, and met three pilots of experimental airplanes who flew 35 minutes for breakfast. They admired motorcycle, and I had questions about their airplanes and flying.

At light throttle application, at what speed does Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain mode upshift into 7th gear? I was surprised by Rain mode! 2023 Honda Gold Wing Tour DCT
Quad Lock Smart Adaptor "Auto" Design Failure? My work-around bypasses the failed "Auto" feature.
Просмотров 599 месяцев назад
I love the convenience of the Quad Lock wireless charger and the security of the combination phone holder, using their phone case. I connected the charger using the Quad Lock "Smart Adaptor," which is currently advertised conflicting statements to be able to automatically power off when the engine is not running and (conflict) when the battery voltage drops to 12.5 volts. A healthy resting 12V ...

Hi! Thanks so much for putting together this test! Much appreciated. Which input gain did you use for the test? It seems quite high when looking at your phone. Other users typically set the gain between -10 and -5 dB, depending on the helmet and bike sounds. Using an equalizer (EQ) can also enhance the audio quality. We recommend disconnecting from our app if you are streaming to the camera. However, if you are recording internally, it's a good practice to monitor the audio using our app. I'm happy to help! Ride safely and have fun! Best, Michele and the Instamic Team
@Instamic I started with -10 on a previous ride and noticed is was in the red. I decreased it later in that video and it was much better. I'll check it and see where it is. Thanks for the suggestion to disconnect from my phone! How does not being connected to the phone help? And how do I know I'm connected to the Insta360 camera without connecting to the phone first?
One of the issues with connecting the insta directly to a bluetooth headset is that it causes a muffled sound making you sould like you're in a tunnel. Theres a mic adaptor you can buy for the insta that plugs in directly to the side of the cam.
Hey Tony, where do you mount your 360 camera, and do you also use a GoPro?
@StretchingOn3Wheels My setup is: -360 camera to the Insta360 invisible selfie stick -selfie stick to a 1/4"-20 x .25" threaded post combined with a 1" RAM Mount ball -B size RAM Mount socket arm -RAM Mount Tough Claw to Mount it to my passenger hand rails -I replaced my brake fluid reservoir bracket with this RAM Mounts RAM-B-309-1U Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Ball Base with B Size 1" Ball My upper setup looks like this without the selfie stick rammount.com/products/ram-b-400-379-252025-rwu I don't use a GoPro. Insta360 is easier to edit compared to my very old GoPro. If I ever get an action camera again, it will probably be an Insta360 Ace Pro or Ace Pro 2. My 360 camera has terrible low light quality, but the Ace Pro models are better for that.
What's up, Tony? I just found your channel. I ride a 2021 Honda Gold Wing trike, the same color as your motorcycle. I'm from McDonough, GA. Go, Dogs! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
@StretchingOn3Wheels What's up, Stretching! Go, Dawgs! I've done a few rides on the south side... Pine Mountain, Warm Springs, Lagrange on the west, and Stockbridge on the east. How are you liking the trike?
@TheTonytodd I'm loving it! This is my first time riding; I've never ridden a motorcycle. My trike is at Electrical Connection in Knoxville having some wiring work, Heli bars, and lights installed. What part of Georgia are you in?
@StretchingOn3Wheels Welcome to riding! I started riding after taking a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course almost 19 years ago. I'm in Cobb. Have you received a recall notice for your trike?
Going to ask your opinion. I currently ride a Yamaha MT-09. Thinking of picking up an older cruiser to take my wife on rides with. We only do canyons and country roads. Would you go with the big 1900 or something smaller considering I will always be carrying a passenger, but also riding fairly steep and winding canyons? I've found a couple very nice 2007 Roadliners with only 7-8 thousand miles on them... Thanks!
@@madsoothsayer Nothing smaller.
Does it do well leaning into the tighter corners? Would you buy one again or something smaller?
@@madsoothsayer it does well leaning into the tight corners its lean angle allows. I would buy one again, nothing smaller.
I got them same speakers the POLK AUDIO DB
Looks good
Can anyone answer me if those are stock pipes on the bike?
Yes, those are stock pipes on the bike in this video.
Is it still possible for me to get my hands on this exhaust? And I’m hearing a lot about Ivan’s performance as per ECU flashing, but I live in Canada, is it possible to still get it done?
I don't see anywhere on the D&D website that they still sell this slip-on exhaust. They don't seem to sell any exhaust at all today for any Yamaha model. You may be able to find it used or through another retailer. The ECU reflash is still available through Ivan's Performance Products thankfully!
@@RidingRoundsWithRoyalT how does that reflash work? Do I just remove the ecu from my bike and send it to Ivan’s?
Yes you just take it off and send it. All the details are on the website. Call Ivan first. I think he is on vacation until September 7 right now.
U still got bike....great video 💗
I do still have it. Thanks.
sounds like my bike . a 2006 stratoliner
Looks like high water pants lol great video
LOL
Lol I'm in Cincinnati Ohio 06 strat Star
47k
What d&d is this
It's the Stratoliner/Roadliner slip-on that D&D used to sell. I don't see it or anything for Yamaha/Star on their website anymore.
Does it attach with the factory windshield mounts?
It attaches to the factory windshield mounts, yes. It is no longer quick-release like the windshield because it tightens to the factory mounts with a bolt on each side and not the quick-release levers of the windshield. .
Did you gain power? Lose gas milage? Add air filter, re-apply fuel injection?
dt1rock, I noticed no change in power or gas mileage. In this video the air filter had not been changed. I don't know what you mean by re-apply fuel injection. The engine ran warmer after I changed the slip-on exhaust. I later had my ECU reprogrammed by Ivan's Performance whiched fixed the heat issue along with added power and other issues not related to the exhaust change.
So I just shared this with all my buddies . It sounded so good I might have to play it again before bed. Your transmission makes all the same wears noises as mine. Lol Thanks... u should do more.
Thanks. This video was a little jumpy after editing for some reason.
I'm used to riding a vz800 (m50 before they went to cubic inches for the model names), and was wondering how much more pronounced the weight was with this bike? Sure is a beauty, have fun with it!
badopinionsrighthere It doesn't feel more pronounced at all to me. That may be for several reasons. 1) The very rigid aluminum frame makes the extra weight feel less squirrelly than my previous C50. 2) The longer wheelbase spreads the weight out. 3) The great increase in power and torque.
Awesome, didn't expect an answer so soon but glad to hear it!
Do you have a sub tucked away in the bags?! Sounds like a lot of bass coming from the fairing! Sounds good! Question: Are those 6.5" speakers or 5.25" and do you have an amp pushing them too? Looks and sounds awesome man!
Thanks, Tony
Does the roadliner have self-adjusting valves?
Kirk Crewdawg The owners manual suggests checking valve clearance and adjusting if necessary every 16,000 miles. So they're not self-adjusting.
Thanks. That pipe is stock pipe.
Those pipes sound good!
I'm in the market for a fairing for my Strat. The Reckless looks like a great option - lots of bang for the buck. Did you have any issues with installation, or the unit itself?
No issues at all with the Reckless. Note: If you don't already have the quick-release mounts for the Yamaha quick-release windshield, you will need them to mount the fairing.
Awesome. Thanks for the info Tony!
Sounds good man!
Just bought a 2013 Roadliner w/ only 1600 miles on it / showroom new ! 12k out the door ! 1854 cc engine. Unbelievable power & acceleration. Handles like a dream ! Great for canyon riding too ! So happy with this horse. It has lots of torque & balls. 150 to 160 miles per tank. Great deep pipe sound but not obnoxious. This bike is great for around town or across the nation ! But the best part is that it is Japanese !!
Real nice . Any issues with the fairing moving or rocking on you at high speeds ? I'm considering the Dragonfly Fairing for my Roadliner.
+Eddie B. No issues with the fairing moving or rocking or anything negative. It's pretty solid.
+TheTonytodd Excellent ! Enjoy your beautiful motorcycle.

hopefully I can get a good 2014 model used in a few years, I'm sad yamaha didn't keep them in production, maybe I'll test ride the raider while I'm shopping
Looks like a comfortable ride. Lots of torque?
The most torque probably in any current classic-style cruiser except for the large 3-cylinder Triumphs.
beautiful machine !
As someone who has just bought a roadliner (called midnight star in the UK for some reason) can I ask what you think of the rear brake position which I need to lift my entire foot off the floorboards to operate? PS I so have large feet
I have no problems with the position of my rear brake pedal. I don't have to lift my entire foot to press it. I had to adjust my heel shifter because it was too high.
Cheers, I have noticed you can buy a lowering kit, but first Ill see if it can be re positioned
id like more helmet views..rather than the others.spoilt it..but nice try
