These were my first pointe shoes, they were okay but I felt like I never really got the shank broken in. They were still a good shoe to grow up on.

Pointe excercises in January 2013 with Grishko pointe shoes. These are my second pair of pointe shoes, and I loved them. The only problem I had was that the vamp was so high I had trouble rolling up. The shank broke in so easily for me, which was amazing. The felt good on my feet, looked good, and didn't cause pain.

Grishko Pointe Shoes

Sorry for the bad quality, my laptop is the only thing I have available for recording at the moment. The end starts to get to the point where you can't really see my feet, but you can see most of the beginning. These are my Grishko pointe shoes I got in October, and it's now December. Just some pointe excersises to do, and I know I'm not doing to awesome because my shoes weren't broken in very well sicne this was around December, right after I got them, so I hadn't been practicing as much as I have been now. But thanks for watching!

I understand it was dreadful and we were all over the place. That's what it says in the description.

@balletbod1 It doesn't hurt as long as you have good toe padding, but whoever your pointe shoe fitter is should get you good ones, and as long as you cut your toenails to where when you touch the top of your toe you can't feel the nail. And it's extremely fun the first time you go on pointe. You're like "Holy poop! I am standing ON MY TOES!!!!"
Thanks for this :) just a quick question.... I was told to get my first pair of pointe shoes for January. What is it like first time? Does it hurt?
