Dissonant Radio: The Complete First Season (Performances Only)
The fact that Oscar Peterson featured Keith Emerson as a guest on his TV series speaks volumes. Keith was a wonderful composer and, of course, the greatest keyboardist in rock history. Anything, in any genre, this genius set his mind to, was superb.
I am a big fan of keith .absolutely amazing talent thanks
Conosco questo brano molto bene per averlo ascoltato migliaia di volte. Molto difficile e ottimamente eseguito solo con il pianoforte. Bravo continua così.
Complimenti, brano molto difficile. Solo un genio come Keith poteva creare questo capolavoro.
Congratulation, excellent.👋👋👋👋
Dear Anthony. This is my favourite ELP compisition, so hard for them to do live, brcause of Greg' s bass lines in "The Fugue". This is a very fine piano version of the whole piece and it shows us all what a genius Keith was and what a fine interpreter you are. Well done! Gteetings from the south of Sweden.
Very well played! Very enjoyable!
Looks o difficult to play really do need brilliant left hand independence
Nice
Great performance!
Bravo!
Wow!! Very impressive rendition of one of the best works by Emerson. I'm sure he would approve!!
I had forgotten how great this compositions was. Thank you! I grew up with ELP. I was in High School in 1970 when their first album came out.
Whoa. Excellent interpretation !
Hi ! May i ask you to arrange and play a sort of compendio themes suite from inferno soundtrack ? Thank you a lot !
I was a big ELP fan in period (ie. the Seventies) and this is an accomplished piece. At the same time, it is typical of Emerson's work in that it's rather busy, and probably a little showier than it needs to be...
busy??? ...showier???...it is one of a kind genius...how could you presume to think about changing a single note?
Your hands fingers effortless so much power . Thank you for sharing the views on your hands. I am trying to improve my technique and this was very helpful!
Awsome rendition
💘
Parabéns por colocar em piano a musica completa !! ! !! Porém o vídeo em que aparece o trio deveria estar em outra parte como no minuto 7:58.
Such an utterly beautiful composition, and very nicely performed. Emerson, Lake & Palmer were such marvelously gifted musical geniuses ! Their technical abilities, their compositions, their showmanship..............there will never be, another ELP.
Speechless through the tears
So amazing!! Thnk you for playing this wonder piece of music in such a beautiful way! Perfect! Keith (and Greg) is somewhere listening and enjoying your playing - hope Palmer hear this! Thanks!!🙏
Thank you for the kind words. Please stay tuned, more ELP vids to come!
Bravo Anthony !! As ever your Emo renditions are superb !! By the way , i saw 6 times ELP in Argentina. Cheers from Buenos Aires Argentina 🤙
Thank you for the kind words. And very jealous! I saw all three live in various solo groups, but never as ELP united. Thanks!
It would fantastic if you could make a Keith Emerson/ELP tribute album !!.,
Working on it! And thanks for the support!
Stunning interpretation and execution ! Thank you ! ☺
Thank you for the support!
Great. It is so good to wacht a new generation keeping ELP music. It means that ELP music will never die. This performance remind my 13 years old when I listen Trilogy many times. Thank you very much.
Thank you for the kind words!
OMG. That could have been Keith himself playing! So much I wanted to say, but I'll have to leave it at "goosebumps".
Thank you for the kind words!
If only Keith was alive to hear your performance and interpretation of this piece. I'm sure he'd love it. Bravo!
Thank you for the kind words!
Another Picture At An Exhibition. I mean: no accident ELP covered Mussorgsky's masterpiece: Keith' blood ran through very similar veins of harmonics, pictural changes of scenery... (If you don't know: listen to a piano rendition of Mussorgsky's Pictures At An Exhibition). Thank you, Anthony Cornet for this wonderful rendition!
Thank you for the kind words. And yes! both Mussorgsky and Keith were certainly masters of their game. Thanks again!
Just beautiful
Excellent interpretation of what I consider to be the one of Emersons greatest compositions. In fact I think it was the first track I ever heard by ELP, which set me off on an exploration of all their albums. Every offering up to Brain Salad Surgery a true classic.
Indeed, it’s quite a marvelous collection of music. Thanks for the kind words!
I came to your site through your "Endless Enigma" version, then I found your own music and I'm listening it now. It's really beautiful and I feel very lucky to meet you. Congratulations.
Thank you so much for the kind words, and for exploring some of my own tunes. Look forward to much more Keith videos to come!
Over the years I've heard many taking on Emerson's work and performing "covers". Your performance of one of Keith's most fascinating and exciting compositions is far and beyond the most magnificent I have ever heard and certainly not a cover. It shows the depth of Emersons thought process and ability. Thank you for the all the time and energy that you gave to give Endless Enigma a new life! Bravo!!
Thank you so much for your kind words. This has indeed been a very special piece for me and I believe one of Keith’s finest. Appreciate your support!
Fabulous performance! Thank you for sharing and continuing the legacy of Keith’s music.
Thanks for the kind words!
Fantastic
Bravo! Bravo! Spiffy arrangement, true and tasty. I think I heard a nod to the later orchestral version. Lots to like in here. Thanks for the ear candy.
Thank you for the kind words! And good ear! The orchestral version was definitely an inspiration.
Great performance! Thank you very much for sharing. One of the most beautiful pieces ever... in my humble opinion.
Absolutely, thanks for the kind words!
Beutiful rendition! This piece introduced me to prog and keyboard music, and is the reason to why i am a musician today. It melts my heart hearing it, and as a pianist its always a pleasure to hear it be performed and interpreted in a manner that is true to the original but in a new light. Cheers, and thank you!
So glad to hear this piece has meant so much to you. It is wonderful indeed. And thank you for the kind words!
Amazing performance !!! 👍👍👍👍👍 !!!!!
Thank you!
Thank you again Anthony. I feel you capture Keith's genius and unique compositional style. While also adding some refinement to often beautiful passages he would sometimes hurry through.
Really appreciate your kind words. Thanks!
Great interpretation of one of ELPs best tracks!
Thanks for the kind words!
Young Keith was also a great jazz organist before he created The Nice. Check this solo out! ruclips.net/video/uKRWKJw-8oQ/видео.htmlsi=IIfOcxEhZBg5kK_W&t=241
WOW!
❤
Kapustin. Most positive of composers of all time
So true!
insightful comments. Why the shifting camera angle?
Excellent! Where can I find and buy the sheet music? I read your essay on Keith Emerson's Piano Concerto and found it extraordinary. Greeting
Thank you for the kind words! And for looking into my concerto analysis. I do not believe there is a proper version to purchase at the moment. However, if you search for Lachesis PDF Emerson into google many transcriptions by dedicated Emerson enthusiasts are available. Hope this helps, and thanks again for your kind support!
