STUBBORN AS MULES....(I do not own this content). Family Guy clip. Copyright to Fox.
My favorite quote 😂😂😂”sperm and nonsense”
lol it’s funny 11 million trees are cut down for sperm
Saw 'em open for The Kinks in seventy seven...State Theatre, Minneapolis.
One of my top 10 favorite desert island discs.
Saw them open for Van Halen in 1979!
lol nah I grabbed one at work today, to actually blow my nose. And this cutaway popped into my head. I broke out laughing around a bunch of confused coworkers. “What’s so funny?” Nothing guys. Good morning. I spent more than half the day chuckling to myself….. it’s sperm & nonsense Jerry
2023 and I'm still laughing on this one! I think it's my favorite of the entire show. *"I'm going to let you in on something and it can't leave this room."* Hilarious!! 🤣🤣🤣
How can there only be two comments under this absolute all time classic scene????????
Because there's another video with this scene that has over 100K views. This is the lesser liked video. ruclips.net/video/aLq7H_pn9pY/видео.html
Such a great band! And album. I also saw the VH tour in Madison, WI. And immediately bought the album the next day. My teenage band immediately learned and covered Pen Pal. So sorry to hear of the loss of David. RIP.
"Jerry, Jerry, it's sperm and nonsense."
Puts his hand on his arm in a comforting way…..
Have you thought about listing the songs and the times they come in? That would be super cool. I was the chick with the super long dark hair always dancing right in front back in Champaign.
I saw this band open for Van Halen in Portland, Maine back in 1979.
Show Place Dover NJ 1981 like yesterday
Brilliant!
Thanks so very, very much for this. Saw them countless times. Just read that Dave recently passed away. RIP and thanks for the memories.
Great post i had the album back in the day!!!! "Imagine Me Without You" best track by far!!!!
I picked up this LP when I was a teenager in the UK, a really great record, thanks for the memories!
If this is David Adams from Screams THANK YOU so much for being such an inspiration. I saw Screams open up for Van Halen in the Summer of 1980 and I bought this album the next day. What phenomenal, original and catchy music with brilliant vocal harmonies! I especially love IMAGINE ME - such a brilliant rock and roll love song! And ANGELINE'S TOYS is like a story of a psycho, little girl offing her friends and family! Hahaha - Angeline's Toys could have been the inspiration for an X-Files' episode! Screams WAS a stadium headliner but the monsters in the music industry didn't make it happen. But SCREAMS will always be close to my heart, summertime memories and one of my inspirations for spending the rest of my life as a musician! All the best! "Pirate" Phil
Many thanks for your post. Excellent album
Absolutely cracking album. What a mixture! Hard Rock meets New Wave meets Beatles meets ACDC meets Cheap Trick meets Foreigner meets The Cars meets The Sweet . This is BRILLIANT!!!!
Fly FREE David-RIP
Did David pass away?
@@chrislestermusic yes-last year-not Covid
Janster59 I’m sorry to hear that. I saw them in 1979. I really enjoyed the band. RIP.
Somehow I never heard of this band until today. This is one hell of a great record. Ronnie Barnett posted a live video along with an RIP for Brad Elvis on FB and it led me here, Truly magnificent music!
Brad Elvis is alive and well! Check out the band "The Handcuffs." Great stuff. Brad is a friend.
Much appreciated!
i too saw screams in 79 they were with van halen and believe it or not i came away from that concert a bigger fan of them than van halen because VH sound was so muddy i couldn't understand any of there songs but screams was so good that night i went and bought their album the next day ! my little brother who was there loved them too ...
lmao i love this show
Featuring the thundering drums of the great Brad Elvis! Thanks for posting, David. 👍
I remember the '79 tour and the ad in Illinois Entertainer--thanks David for the great music!
Gregory Romano ...Thanks, Greg. Cheers!
So happy to hear this again!!! Thanks for posting!
Lisa Lightning, it's good to know that we are still remembered well. Happy New Year to you.
Thank you for posting, have been looking for the album for years. At least this way I can hear the whole album. They should have been as big as Cheap Trick.
ps I thought you were mesmerizing!
OMG, hello david im rebecca z. from urbana and I was a regular at your screams shows at the red lion back in the day. it was the first time I ever danced - (with becky y). my memories are beautiful and so are you! i gave you a button with a bette davis drawing I did. love u.
rebecca z ...I remember you, and I wore that button until the pin broke off!
+David Adams wow isn't life amazing with technology? you have blown my mind! best to you my beautiful friend 💙👌🔥
I must have danced with you back in the day! I had long black hair down to my waist and hung out with a big goofy guy named Steve with red hair. :)
Bought this when it first came out after seeing the band in Champaign. This album is THE reason I purchased a USB turntable to rip MP3 files. So many great songs.
The first band I ever saw at my first concert. They opened for Van Halen at Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio July 1979. What a night.
slugtoe ...thanks, man. its nice to be remembered. :-)
Screams will always be my introduction to the excitement of a real Rock concert. I didn't know any of your music beforehand but I have the compact disc I bought online a few years ago. I have it on cassette and album. I saw the Elvis Brothers open for Cheap Trick on March 27th 1986 at the back of Hara in a section called the Winterland. That was the only time I saw a show there.
glad i found this saw this band play the marquee in london back in the day and till now still one of the best gigs i ever saw
facebook.com/groups/1606318589639891/ All are welcome. David
Is this my copy that I sent you years ago?
David, nothing else i can say except that this is one of my ALL TIME FAVOURITE albums;-) i think i exchanged a few messages with you back around 2007/8 or so whilst i was living in the USA. i tracked down a link to your personal website whilst hunting down any info i could find about the band, it remains the album Cheap Trick WISH they couldve recorded.
that is a very sweet comment in a day when many commenters on RUclips are so cruel. I appreciate you
+David Adams your very welcome mate;-) the truth is easy to say!
I got lucky and got the CD from Japan through Perris Records at $10. I bought the vinyl but somehow it got a crack in it on the 1st song on each side. Wish I could have seen you guys at the Ivanhoe in Pekin. I was underage.
thank you so much.
Thank you. I have been sharing with people and they have been digging it. Maybe try and get Rock Candy out of England to reissue it if you have the rights.
metalmaho you need to upload that CD digital to RUclips or at least offer the files somewhere. the album deserves to be heard and spread. cheers
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POST THIS DEAR FRIEND!!!! It is a terrible tragedy that this band never got the support and promotion they deserved. I saw them open on VAN HALEN's first world tour in 1979 (what a great year that was for music)! They were fantastic.
much appreciated : )
I saw it too! Springfield Illinois/July 27th 1979. I just looked it up today. I have little to no memory of Screams. I remembered the name though/found this video here. Good album. I wish I would have had it before the concert!
Damn good music. Listened to this while partying back in the day. Good lyrics and instruments. If you're the David Adams from the band thanks much for sharing. Good to have you guys on youtube.
