I like to post videos that I'm interested in that can be hard to find, to share them with everybody here on the tube.
I'm also a big ESPN and JRIB fan, as you might have guessed. You can catch Jim Rome live on ESPN at 4:30 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday, or check out his radio show, 12:00 - 3:00 PM Eastern syndicated nationally. Note: I do not have some Jim Rome archive of shows, so don't ask. Just a few clips here and there.

The crash of a VFA-25 F/A-18C BuNo. 164642 on board USS Ronald Reagan at 11:15 p.m., Jan. 28, 2006. The pilot was an S-3 transition first tour LT with 242 hours in the Hornet including 24 night traps. The incident took place off the coast of Australia, near Brisbane. I brought my dad along on the tiger cruise in 2006 and showed him that impact damage. I was night check in VFA-115 when it happened, VFA 25 was in our CAG. I was waitiing to recover my bird when I heard "405 on bravo", since our squadron had 200 series numbers (200 through 214), i knew i had a few minutes to hit the head. I was in the aft starboard head washing my hands when it hit the round-down. Talk about an intense experience! I didn't know what the hell to think

It was a wild night for sure! I was in VFA-115 at the time, waiting for my jet to land. I heard DOG call "aircraft 405 on bravo", so i figured I had time to use the head real quick. I was in the aft head right below the flight deck on the starboard side. I was washing my hands when it hit the round-down. Knocked me and the dude next to me to the ground. It was pretty intense.
