Hi have mine setup but having problems with the pinch valve not shutting off and the tank wont build up pressure Richway wont reply to my emails and got my pinch valve off aliexpress any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Very well done, but my question evolves around the air supply. It seems most videos completely ignore perhaps the most important element of blasting and that is the air supply. What would you recommend in terms of compressors--not manufacturers--but specifications. Thanks for the videos.

OMG you saved me thousands of dollars I didn't have on a sand carver when all i really need to blast 800 grit is a pressure pot instead of a syphon tube truly explained properly, your work keeps paying dividends!

Couldn't a clogging problem just as easily be caused by damp grit?

Can you remake this video showing step by step how you did this? I cannot get my measurements to show up on only the layer for that part? Every part I put dimensions on, the dimensions end up in the first two scenes that I don’t want them to?

That shut off valve for the foot peddle should been fitted before the media and air are mixed otherwise the valve with get destroyed by the high pressure media flow over time and those valves are expensive....it should have a one way valve fitted just after it also...

what type of valves and hose is typically used in sand blasters, i imagine any valves/hoses downstream of the pot are consumable and take quite a beating also whats a good pressure to start with before dialing it in exact

How about a much rougher surface such as flagstone paver, basalt retaining stone, or something that you might normally hand or power chisel... Can sandblasting be used for actual carving of stone statuary... I'm thinking about garden art and stand alone pieces... Thanks for the time you're taking to advise us newbies...

I made my first sand carved sign a few weeks ago and it worked well. I used a 20 mil resist material and my wife cut it out on her Silhouette machine connected to her desk top computer. It just barely cut through the 20 mil material and I'm guessing that it would do better on a thinner resist material, so next time I'm going to try a 10 mil. I then used shifted play sand in my 20 lb Harbor Freight pressurized sand blast pot. Thanks for sharing !

Hi Thomas When you mentioned that you can go up to 55 DPI, what size grit are you using to blast for that, can this same process be used on photoshop as well.
